Lads, I have exciting news! According to what I've read, Villa are looking to sign central defender Lamine Koné from Sunderland and defender Dan Burn from Wigan. Villa are also looking to sign midfielder Mason Mount on loan from Chelsea.

No, my only concern at the moment would be a we aren't an attractive proposition so I'd fear what brand would be interested!

Would be ok because if helps the club to get out of this mess. It will always be Vila Park to everyone in the same way those other Victorian builds will be Anfield, Old Trafford etc!

Because of the situation we have to look at options and a rename of Villa Park would be acceptable.
Should it happen then I would want to see it still named "***********Villa Park. "
However beggars can't be choosers and what a sponsor wanuts.

I have kept quiet on here lately because what is there to say the club I love is basicially ruined all our best players are gona go we will only be left with the rubbish I have no faith in the manager and the owner who we all loved as turned out to be a liar and a fraud. The biggest challenge will be trying to stay up and pay our bills. How the hell as this been aloud to happen when the panel look into a owner it should take months because there's to many bad owners aloud to come into clubs an ruin them. I am sorry to moan but I can't see where or what the clubs trying to do anymore.

Hi wtw. Tony was state backed mate. That's why all the big talk of being the biggest in China and going for all these trophy s because it was in China's best interest to back villa as it is there investment. Dr t is no more than a front man. Problem is we did not go up and they have lost interest and pulled the plug on finances for us. Hence where we now find ourselves. Dr t is a mate of the pres of China. He's not a massive wealthy man. All smoke and mirrors mate. We was one of the richest teams in world till they pulled plug.

I am just gutted mate. I can't see a way out of it I am hoping somebody helps us out if his can't run the club why don't he sell it.

I think he will mate. I've herd he is offering it to anyone he can but wants 80 mil and most only want to pay around half that with the hole we in.

Chelsea have offer 30 million for jack and loan him back to us next season. I'd take that offer if we need to sell him.

Zero chance, they have as, if not more, accomplished players out on loan already.

Marco van Ginkel, Mason Mount, Kenedy, Loftus-Cheek, Musonda all play similar positions to Grealish.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jun 2018 12:38:58
I also think this Chelsea rummor is just that,
They have players better than grealish in there huge squad,
The owner needs to sell up if possible because as I see it now we are only going to get worse if we don't sell.

I would not entirely dismiss this rumour at all.
John Terry could possibly be behind it, if true, that is only a thought.
Stanger things have happened, and I tend to agree with Kingy on this.
If true do the deal, it could be a good starting point, on the road back.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jun 2018 14:49:54
I agree to do the deal if it is a serious bid,
Just got a feeling they are in limber with the manager plus roman is not spending like he used to,
But if it's areal bid take it,
Got to be better than levy 's proposed insulting bid,

12 Jun 2018 15:10:20
Look, its the ideal situation considering our current predicament - Grealish is destined to leave but if we could get him back on loan then what a deal that would be, especially if we can maintain the majority of the current squad.

09 Jun 2018 17:10:15
Is there really truth about this spurs bid of 15mill plus 2 loan players!
This is a typical levy ploy to get players in on the cheap,
If we accept this type of deal then I would very upset,
We would have more chance of getting a higher figure from Leicester or even Fulham come to that,

10 Jun 2018 15:25:36
It would all be in tots favour, they get jack on the cheap and we get to enhance two loanees for them. Are they havin a laugh. We can blood our own thanks very much and jack ain't going cheap.

11 Jun 2018 12:00:44
We all know Grealish will be sold but if Villa let him go for less than 30M they are even more foolish than I thought - 15M in todays climate is laughable.

The big question for me is how does the sale for Grealish really impact the club - Are we selling him to maintain the rest of the squad or is this a temporary solution to our financial woes? If Grealish going allows us to maintain the core of the squad while add a few shrewd signings and integrate some youth then I can swallow that but - If Grealish will be followed out the door by Kodjia and Chester then Xia needs to go as our club is in massive trouble.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jun 2018 18:24:28
There is some truth in most rumours, but if jack is to go then other clubs will be involved which means that particular bid would probably not be the bid to attract him or the interest of Villa. let's not forget that Jack is also under contract at Villa until 2020 so clubs are not allowed to approach Jack without the clubs consent so Villa still hold the ace card.

Hi my fellow Villa fans, I have just been thinking and I still don't know so thought I would ask you guys is these money problems because Dr. Tony can't get money out of China? Or is it because he is in fact not that rich and brought the club and just used parachute payments and loans to run it and when that ran out left us screwed?

I just don't see how long term he can keep the club going. doesn't look like to me that he wants to sell if he can help it. I remember when he 1st brought it nobody could find how much he was worth and its left me worried. UTV.

Many posters asked the same question when it was announced that Deadly was selling to the Dr.
No body seemed able to answer and I would hazard a guess that there will not be an answer forthcoming.
Some years back Man U were "sold" to a geezer who worked on the idea that he could pay off the buying price by monthly payments. In the end he went off to a northern club and may still be there.
Many business's are bought on the expected turnover to come so the Dr has not invented anything new.
What is going on suggests that the Dr has limited wealth and unfortunately we were told this by supporters of other clubs at the time of the change.
What is happening does make me think that the Dr is not what we thought originally, if he was he should be able to rake out the £40m that we need!

Deadly was selling to the Dr.
After the process yes, he sold to the Dr.
The essence of the post is to question the Dr's ability to actually buy AVFC with his own money.
It does seem that he does not have the ready cash as it stands at this momen t.

Except it was Lerner who sold it, not Doug? It may have ended badly but he still owned the club. We can't delete him like WWE tried to do with Hulk Hogan.

I am confident that we will start next season intact. Whilst not a Bruce fan I think he owes us and along with the remaining players needs to show us his wealth of experience and start the next campaign in a positive mood. We all know that struggling businesses need to sell any valuable asset in order to survive, it's inevitable that we will lose our best players.

My biggest concern is that Bruce will now have to introduce some if not all of our best young talent, if any of these shine as I am sure they will, they will then become "valuable" assets and the sale will then be inevitable because of our precarious financial position. I appreciate this is a doomsday position, however we will not be the first or last club to find ourselves in this position. Dr X please do the right thing by our famous club and try to do everything to give us a chance to maintain our credibility, loyal fans deserve this. VTID.

So this is my view on Aston Villa the chairman can no longer sustain the running of the day today running of the club. it appears that the Chinese government won't let any of his money out the country. so he has no option that's a Sell the club. What worries me is why would anybody buy Aston Villa for 70 million I would offer 10 million to buy Aston Villa if I was a businessman, why the choices are take my offer or next month you will cease trading.

And that goes for clubs looking to buy a players too. if Jack Grealish is 40 million, I would offer five we have to accept it. even if we pay the tax bill how is Dr Tony going to be able to run the club with no money? here is what I know for a fact; John Terry cancelled the last month of his contract at Aston Villa and played for free because the players knew what was going on.

now my good friend Keith wyness is he really to blame? All he done was trying to sell Aston Villa for us which is what Dr Tony he's doing now yes to Dr Tony it seems like you stabbed him in the back but to us fans he was just trying to get an owner who could run the club.

at the end of the day we do not need a sugar daddy or a billionaire we need a chairman who is going to be able to keep Aston Villa in business since we've had all these billionaires our club has been rubbish Premier League relegation championship football rubbish manager after rubbish manager I would rather have an owner who wasn't that rich but new how to run a football club.

we all love this Football Club and to think that it might not be here next month is awful what does everybody think about the fans buying the club? so we can have a say in everything that is Aston Villa.

Xia is not a billionaire, he barely has £5m to rub together. The thing about the Chinese govt is nonsense, those rules only kick in when investments abroad hit £500m, Xia has only invested £150m in Villa including his initial purchase of the club.

Remember when news broke of Xia’s takeover two years ago and everyone started searching to find out how much he was worth? Well they all drew a blank, why? Because there is no money! He gambled and borrowed on a one or two time shot of getting back to the premier and it has backfired. See Leeds and Ridsdale all those years ago. Bad managers failing to get the most expensive squad in the top two and a financial gamble that didn’t pay off! It’s as simple as that.

Now we do have to hope for a great June billionaire because nothing short of that will get us back to where we should be. Man City, Chelsea, PSG don’t seem to be complaining much.

Are you a billionaire wtw. You need to be these days mate. I'd love to be able to buy villa but my pockets will never be deep enough. What I could offer is buying the right play ers for us to become a top team once again. Young talent hungry players that will improve and value go up. To many over paid has beens in our squad right now.
