There was a rumour circulating, during the game, that Kodga had stormed off, after being told he was on the bench .

BS, holding his rib at the end of the Rotherham game pulling a face, wasn’t even at the game.

Chris this is a rumour site, that’s why I posted on here . whether it’s true or not I don’t know, it’s just what was going round at the match HaHa .

I don’t understand what your point is mate, yes you posted a rumour, I just explained it, I heard the same thing aswell, wasn’t saying anything against what you had posted, just giving further information. There’s actually a video on the clubs socials where he throws his shirt into the crowd and then winces after holding his rib.

Looks like there is going to be a lot of interest in Tammy during the summer, with some papers saying around 30 million, if we can't secure him who does you guys think we should go for, I think big Ben would love to come back to villa park along with maupay we would get both for 30 million.

Its been talked about before, leave well alone in my opinion.
Too moody and temperamental, grown men should not need an arm round the shoulder to make them perform.
He is not the player he was, he used to be ours, but not anymore.
Neal Maupay would be the better option, he has done very well and deserves a chance.

As soon as I saw Big Ben mentioned Dave I remembered me and you talking about him at length mate haha, I’d probably still have him back as a second striker, I’m probably blinded by the good times but I do think he’d fit this new system well, off the bench he’d be a quality option and when he was here before he really was phenomenal, top 5 goal scorer 3 seasons in a row in when you look back a proper poor team under worse management. I’d be wary of maupay, good player no doubt but his attitude is off putting and we should be very wary of signing strikers from Brentford who have had a half good season after Hogan. Probably need to see what league were in first, in the prem would be quality to get Tammy and then look abroad for another quality striker to push each other.

I remember it as well chris, bloody funny mate.
I can see your point and respect your opinion, but I am stuck with my feelings on this one.
Its a shame I know, but the prospect just does not sit right with me.
If it happened I would love nothing more than to eat humble pie with you chris.

Fair play mate, I reckon if we can’t get Tammy go get someone else, that batshuayi that Chelsea constantly loan out is a phenomenal striker. Then maybe if his available Big Ben for the bench, but only at the right price. No matter what happens we need so many players in the summer, half the team is loans.

The current league table tonite makes depressing reading, so our season is shot so my message to Deano and the players, play with freedom and show us what you can do, we are safe so there's absolutely nothing to lose, let's at least get some pride back.

It looks bad but 8 points isn't insurmountable. If the team put everything into a good run then 8 wins and a draw out of the 12 would get us to 70 points which could see us sneak in there.

I didn't say it was likely but none of the teams standing between us and 6th are setting the league alight either so we shouldn't be throwing the towel in just yet.

Win at the cow shed and we go above BCFC.
Forest and Hull play each other so again a win at the cow shed and we can be in 8th.
GD better than Derby who play Wigan and Wednesday and the way they are going they could lose both so we could go 7th.
Lets believe
Our talisman is back, and did we see a more advanced roll for Hourihane?
Mathematically we are ok, we can make it. Every season we have a dip in form and then we rally.
This season is no different.
WE CAN DO IT, BELIEVE! I DO.

All the different types of players we need, that have been put forwards, I agree with . The one I'm surprised nobody came up with, is a strong hard, defensive midfielder . somebody to provide more protection, for the back four .

Also not only put the frightners, up the opposition, but his own players as well . As has already been said, we have more than enough, up front to win us games . Somebody like that would give, the rest the license to get forwards .

Does anyone out there know of an out of contract C/H?
We need this before anything happens regarding a top 6 place.
Jack could be back this weekend but if we leave the gate open all and sundry will walk through or bypass.

One man could mean we get into the playoffs, but who? We could advertise across the world and see if anyone, someone comes forward.
We could do a deal as with JT last year of a wage plus a bonus if we get through the playoffs.

I would offer my services, my old boots are now cleaned down, blood removed and nails knocked in, but I would probably get sent off after a couple of games.

Find a shin kicker, not the opposition, our players. that's what we need.
Villadave, no need for you to apply, I have already sent your name to the powers that be.
We can score em but we can't stop them.

Scotty
We are scoring goals so we are ok up front.
We are conceding goals at the back.
Where is the problem?
The defence need a leader.
One good signing could have organised the back line.
No father figure, no guidance, no motivator.
Where is the naivety? JT did it all last season and that's what we are missing.

Perhaps one for the future . But apparently we have a young CH, Mungo Bridge . Who played for the U18 and U23 s and I'm told that AC Milan are after him, but apparently he wants to stay at Villa . The kid has brains as well as talent

One might question his brains, even in jest.
Birmingham or Milan.
Mmm some decision to make.
A wet day, no sunshine for 2 months and a lot of Villa fans bemoaning our luck.
No decision.
Great culture, amazing architecture, high fashion, exciting food.
Only one choice
The great city of Birmingham wins hands down.
Who needs sunshine?
What could be better than the canals?
More hills than Rome?
More green space than any major European city.
The greatest curry houses outside Asia.
Yes Birmingham just scrapes it!

Who wants alternative to a Friday night curry?

Just seen after match interviews, Smith, you are fast losing credibility, blaming referees is a smoke screen for the teams inadequacies, accept we are not good enough and don't blame the men in black. You are beginning to sound like Warnock

If you go all the way back, to game at Baggies, last min goal with hand . since then, at least 3 off side goals against us .3-4 penalties we’ve had denied. So overall I think Deano could have a point . If I remember rightly, there has been at lot of cursing of the men in black, on here over the last few weeks .
I’m not saying it’s all their fault, but it certainly doesn’t help .

I never want to see these players in a villa shirt again, taylor, hutton, jedi, thor, elghazzi; adoamoah; hourianne; elmo; whealan, kodja, all stealing a living off hardworking players or youngsters.

2 wins in 13 is shocking, still playing with no idea, poor formation which we don't have the players for, Bruce got sacked for less. Playing like we did under Paul lamberts last few games when we had no idea or plan B.
