Watching the wolves match!
Compare to villa it's chalk and cheese,
Great to watch and I'm a jealous guy to be honest watching how they are playing the game,
Villa under Bruce are not anywhere near them,

While Bruce is manager of our club this type of discussion will continue week in week out, the team was again set up all wrong yesterday.
Yesterday Bruce proved to me beyond any doubt that he is not the right fit for our club, and needs to be replaced now.
Flackie pointed out he felt the team was better balanced, and I have to agree I think it was, players in their correct positions does help, just the wrong players.
When I saw the team sheet yesterday my heart sunk which I posted as soon as I read it, this guy never fails to amaze me, since we bought McGinn, he keeps leaving Hourihane out, why, they need to play together.
I honestly think if we had played Kodjia, El Ghazi, Bolasie, Hourihanie, and Bjarnason from the start we would have won that game yesterday.
I would have left out Grealish, Adomah, Elmohamady, Jedinak, and Taylor.
Grealish is looking tired, too much is being expected of him, and I think he will never improve his game under Bruce, he is a flair player and needs to be coached by a more stylish manager, You should never know what a player like Grealish is going to do next, but for some reason you always do, his approach to any game is always the same, and sometimes looks very laboured, he needs to wake up when nearer the box, chances go begging at times when it looks easier to have a go, I think he needs to be rested, your place should never be guaranteed, no matter who you are.
At long last we now have some talent in forward positions, so I urge you, while you are still hear Mr Bruce to use them as they should be used, you are never too old to learn from your mistakes, and let`s face it he has made many.
I live in a village down south, trust me they do not like change, and for that reason they are stuck in the past, talking to an old fella a couple of years ago about Manchester, Manchester he said, yes you know Manchester I said, I have heard of it he said but not sure where it is? Every word is true.
The point being Mr Bruce, you have to change, and now, if not Go ASAP, Please.

Once Hogan is fit we will have 5 forwards that will expect to play, it won't be long before 4 of them are totally peed off and there will be unrest in the camp. Bruce has manufactured all of the problems. As I have seen written today.
Stupidity definition.
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, sums it up for me.

We have the players to win this championship but Bruce and his coaching staff are holding us back.
We have no identity and playing style.
I still don't understand why el gazia was put on bench,
I thought he looked a decent buy with his first appearances and had 1 assist and scored against sheff Utd,
Then he is dropped for whatever reason?
Bruce likes to make changes for the sake of it,
I was always brought up with football knowing that a settled side is the way to go,
Get a settled system within the club,
The last 20 mins we saw kodlia and Abrahams work off each other and they looked promising together,
Only when we are losing a game Bruce decides to attack the opposition,
His pragmatism in tactics is holding the team back
Then in his interview on wm after match he says we have only lost 1 game this season and he was happy but the fans are on his back,
But look at the first 7 fixtures and we have the much easier start and we have even struggled to win the 2 games we did,
Does not need me to tell anyone that nothing but 6 points from next 2 home games is acceptable,
Anythink less he should go in my opinion,
Just 1 more thing when is our new C/ E going to talk to the fans?
This is also not acceptable,

I don't know if any other club does this but I was thinking earlier and we do have the space to do this down at B6. What about a memorial garden where by all our fantastic Hollteenders in the sky can be remembered with their names written on a big Plaque what's your thoughts do you think this could work and if none has a close relationship with someone at the club they could have a word #HOLTEENDERSINTHESKY.

Perspective, realism and intelligence. The three things that are consistently over looked on this page, and why most people have stopped posting and giving an opinion.

I read your post earlier this week Flacks and hand on heart can honestly say that he nearly lost me as well but after a couple of days thinking about the Blades game I thought maybe it was the kick up the backside he may have needed. The signings he has made now will determine his season as Villa manager when we play Blackburn what formation he picks and the players he plays for me personally I think the season starts against Blackburn and if we lose that then i'm sorry to say this but he will have also lost me also. Yes there is going to be games we lose this season but if he is going to be stubborn and carry on picking players out of position then he is writing his own P45. We need at least 2 CBS and a left back but he has until the end of this month to address this I do believe.

I wasn’t talking about Bruce in this post.
I’m talking about people posting the same opinion in everything they type, I’m talking about people being so determined to be important that they make a new thread every two minutes, or answer a thread a hundred times to get their post quota up.
I’m talking about people being offensive, and I’m talking about people that talk rubbish, and make up facts to sound important.

This site USED to be a place to get with other villans, have an opinion, a laugh and talk relevant intelligent points on our club.
All it is now is a shouting contest, that is boring and pointless.

Bruce stay, Bruce go. It’s not important, all that matters is posting more threads than anyone else, posting more replies and talking bollokcs.

To all you mob out their bigging up leeds-when they played the boro pulis packed the midfield and stifled them, and what was their plan b-NONE-so wake up and realise you can only play fancy football if the opposition give your room to, you boys get back on your playstations if you think it'll be easy for leeds as the season goes on, IT WON'T-back bruce and the boys.

Smack that pony Classof82.

04 Sep 2018 14:11:39
Yeah right atleast leeds play the right way, no 1 said play playstation footy did they it's about getting entertainment not watching hoof ball an dross play, football has moved on now so have managers aswell, you might want to stay in the old times of football, sum want to move on an play attacking football.

04 Sep 2018 17:24:23
Villa4eva-didn't leeds go nuts out with that under a scandinavian coach a while back? -didn't work did it, liverpool play attacking football-how did they get on against madrid? -barca with messi and all play attacking football, now when did they last win the champions league? spurs play exciting football, now hold on, what have they won? some on here keep on about wolves this, wolves that, and last season they were indeed different class, but cardiff also went up, they didn't play stunning football but were just as effective, wolves were last seasons' version of leicester, right players at the right time in a league that was open, look at leicester since, their no disgrace but the bubble isn't expanding anymore, the same will happen to wolves, all top clubs need to spend at least 120 million a year just to stand still, or have a demon scouting network or youth academy (southampton springs to mind), so unless you boys fancy remortgaging your houses and donating to the 'sign messi' appeal, you cut your cloth accordingly, mendes was able to bring in players to wolves who were near the end of their contracts or in dispute with their clubs, hence wolves had a right touch, this season we'll see if their players stay or leg it, back on planet villa, due to previous managers spunking the sheckles, we still have the pain of ffp, or had you forgotten that?, you want promotion but you want fantasy football as well, all on ffp-wake up and smell the coffee, to me there are only 4 managers who'se record more or less guarantees promotion, brucey, allardyce, pullis and warnock, now none of them play fantasy football but their records speak for themselves, so play pragmatic and get promoted, or the other way, fancy football in a league where booting your opponent up in the air is common place, me, i'll take steady eddy and promotion over the latest fancy football, ONCE promoted, then we can take it from there, but you boys know better it seems, over to you managers in waiting.

04 Sep 2018 19:56:01
Disagree lpool would of champs league if it wasn't for gk, spurs should of won the league the season. Leicester won it, we have the players to attack, look at Brentford the way they play, each to there own but playing bruces way won't win villa anything I hope I'm proved wrong but I doubt it, the way he's going he make it too nxt season he will be lucky to make it to Halloween, he's had his time an failed in my view, it's time for sum1 younger like gallardo who will play attacking football an get the wow factor bck at villa, it's been 2 or 3 yrs with bruce an I'd happily get rid to get gallardo and give him the time and money bruce has wasted an I bet it won't nearly 3 yrs to be where we all want to be if he got job.

04 Sep 2018 20:02:29
An bruce doesn't guarantee promotion does it, I take it your old school an like the way big sam, pulis, an warnock play tbf I wanted warnock over bruce better man manager and isn't a check book manager, he would of been perfect fit takes no 💩and would of kicked the players bck sides, football moved on now an so do villa if we want to progress as a team an get promoted at end of season, but that looks highly unlikely.

05 Sep 2018 03:12:14
Villa4eva-thats a fair reply, i too wanted warnock, but that boat has sailed, you mention gallardo as your favourite, fair enough, but i think the owners don't fancy a total rebuild in the league we're in, blood and guts over technical flair! so i'm guessing the owners will go with track records, so bruce stays., personally i think the problem that bruce has (and its only because football now gives managers no time) is that he's too loyal to the players, when they play bad he'll try and let them redeem themselves in the next game, whereas now its being judged on your previous game alone, maybe he needs to mix up the backroom staff as well, and judging by his comments after last week i think your going to see bruce more bullish and aggresive, with that mean streak i think bruce will get the boys cracking on with the job in hand, we just got to keep the faith and give the lads time to adjust, if you binned bruce now, you might as well write the season off, what with the changes in players and staff, and with the ffp hindering us as well, i doubt the promised land would be in our grasp, let's just play our hand, and by the way, if bruce seriously thought he couldn't turn it around, he would quit, he's that type of manager, so why not back him and believe?

05 Sep 2018 08:10:34
I hope so, I do like the bloke mate I just think he can't take any further.

05 Sep 2018 20:36:36
Villa4eva-i hope he does too, for all of us, time will tell if he can take us to another level, i just think we should keep supporting the lads till (IF) something changes, because in reality, if we don't, we're just shooting ourselves in the foot, sometimes we forget a player bears in mind what the fans are like, and depending on whether their fiercely loyal or fickle, does make a difference in deciding whether they'll join, so keep the faith fella!
UTV.
