Mr Lambert, to coin your very own phrase. 'You had enough possession (of the managers position), we could not have asked any more (less) of you. Now pick yourself up and go again.

Blame your scouts, blame your assistants (all of them), blame your coaching staff, blame your players, and blame your owner.

Now is the time the fans can really get behind the team. Its a coin toss we all (mostly) wanted. It landed on heads, then rolled off. UTV

I will be happy if Villa appoints Claudio Ranieri, he is without a job and he has almost 30 years of experience managing European clubs like Chelsea, Juventus, Inter, Monaco, Roma, Atletico Madrid, Fiorentina and Valencia. His records are good at most of these clubs.

Shame the chief coach now takes over after every one and his dog state that we needed someone who could coach.
Now even royalty have joined in and suggest the Avram Grant could be the answer.

I think I'd like to see hoddle take over, and promote cowans to assistant manager to help as he is villa through and through. But who ever comes in it will need to be soon, and hopefully be able to motivate our sorry lot

I think Sherwood would be a massive mistake, gutted we are in talks with him, looks like a rubbish appointment on the way. No track record, picked up a decent spurs team for 6 months that Barry fry would have got the same results with. Cone on fox hoddle!!!

Sherwoods record at spuds was worse than AVB and he got sacked.
Sherwood was not agreeable at QPR or Baggies as they would not guarantee funds for him so what is Lerner doing even considering him for the job.

I think you will find his record was the best any spurs manager has had in the premier league, win percentage of just over 59%. So it's time to get behind the new manager as today it was his half time influence that made the difference
