Rumours flying around that Bruce wants to loan delph till the end of the season. Personally I think it would be a great move and if he helps us get promoted then I will forgive the snake. Thoughts people?

{Ed025's Note - thats a terrible thing to say...about snakes smudge.. :)

If he come back he would undoubtedly be the best midfielder in the league, fans in the ground might boo him first time his announced but after a few wins nothing would be said. Internet fans and key board warriors would hate it, you'd see snake emojis everywhere. If he said the right things i. e. "Yea I left to play in the champions league and challenge for trophies but it hasn't worked out that way, I regret the way in which I left" etc everything would be fine.

If it meant getting back into the prem I would sell my soul to the devil. would be a great move if it did come off

Exactly the type of player we need

We had Delph on the books for six years and we still struggled, the bloke scored three goals in six years, and yes we do need a box to box player, Not him.
If I came out with the bullshit like he did to my wife I would be kicked out end of, lies of that magnitude not tolerated in my book.

Yea Dave I was gutted when he left, but there's no doubting with that 1 signing our midfield would go from one of the worst to one of the best in the championship.

Delph was he not player towards the end who was trying week in week out. end of the day it wasn't all bullshit, I do think he has a fondness for villa but end of the day money talks and he wanted to do the best for him and his family. Sure you would do the same.

Exactly smudge, hated the way he left but no doubt there was loads of stuff going on behind closed doors, why did he have an 8mil buy out clause fgs! But doubt it will happen, if it does brilliant

I had the chance 15 years ago smudge, and no I did not do the same, I stayed put and glad I did, believe me money is not everything surely you don`t need me to tell you that.
We can go on all day mate, I would prefer not to have him back, that’s just me, if it happens so be it.

Apparently villa have categorically denied they've enquirer bout delph. Be more than happy with Lansbury who I think is a quality player would love us to try and get will Hughes from derby.

I believe that Delph is not looking for big salary to go on loan to us. He will just accept his usual 30 pieces of silver.

{Ed025's Note - love it irish..

First Bruce the blue nose as manager ( yes I accept he is turning the club around) . Next Delph on loan. What next Brady and OSullivan given seats on villa board?

I flew over for the Wigan match and was chatting to bloke next to me. Thirty thousand there approx apart from the 12 Wigan supporters and everyone would give a piece of their soul to run onto that pitch for villa. Not for 20/ 30/ 40+ grand a week. For free. For the honour. That scrote Delph was our captain and the mocks us with that other scrote sterling drawing snakes on their arms.

{Ed025's Note - i cant argue with that mate..

Say the right things?
Like he did before!?

I wouldn't want him near the club again. Poison.
Would rather stay in champ than have to hear his name sang, or be made to feel I owe the snake anything.

Fabian delph reminds me of robin van persie-spent years getting injured, started to come towards the end of his contract, has a great season and then decides slither off, hw won't come back to us, that's his agent drumming up business to get him a gig at another premiership club needing re-inforcements, i reckon palace with big sam, let sam massage his ego, or more appropriately, polish that turd!

Although I get where your coming from, I cannot believe you'd rather stay in the championship than get promoted with him on loan flackie, come on, as much as we wish it wasn't football is a business, the way he left was awful but no one can say if their on 30k a week and someone comes and says we'll give you 100, they wouldn't take it. If he came back (not that I think it will happen in a million years) he would get boo'd for a few games then after that no one would care, half the people go to see us win and as long as that's happening no one cares who's playing and the other half are too pissed to know who's who! Any player who would get us out or atleast help get us out of this division and back in the one we should be in is welcome in my eyes, come in do the job and if you don't wanna stay jog on.

Agree with you 100% Flackie. Personally I couldn't watch a villa team with him playing in it. Would be like breaking bread with a bloke that had been riding your missus lol. Neither can be trusted. Delph would ride us at the first opportunity.

I'm deadly serious mate.
Integrity is important to me mate. And of all the things players have done over last few years. to come and commit to a club, to then days later stab then in the back was the worse.
He is a disgrace.

07 Jan 2017 13:48:05
It is hard to argue with that because I was genuinely gutted when he left and the way it all happened. If he had just left? None of the BS that went on just come to the end of the season a left, would you have him back?

19.) 07 Jan 2017

If he hadn't lied. said how he was staying, and left.

I'd have him back in a heart beat.
Let's be honest he was one of the best players to put on a villa shirt. he would head and shoulders be best player in championship.

But what does it tell fans, youth players, the guys who brought his shirt after his statement, I got one for both my kids.

He is a liar, with no scruples. he takes takes takes, with out the giving.
