Anybody think the premiership is getting like WWE
I know we are are a circus but the move by Huth on Kozak and last night Ramiro Funes Mori on Kevin DeBruyne would haven't have looked out of place in WWE.

In lots of ways you've hit the nail on the head mate. Football is becoming exactly like WWE in the sense that it's a big soap opera and the actual emphasis is being moved further away from the pitch. I haven't watched wrestling for many years but when I did watch it as a youngster there used to be 5/ 6 matches in a show, I see odd glimpses about it now advertising on a couple of Villa blogs and it's all talking and bullshitm jut like football.
The actual 'football' is being overshadowed by the controversy surrounding refs decisions or what a manager said in his interview or what hair cut or news boots someone has on.

Now people seem to be more bothered about what so and so been up to or who said what on Twitter. It's a big part of the reason Villa are in the mess they're in and most people haven't even noticed it happening before their very eyes. You look at the main headlines on sky sports every day and most of them are either Man Utd, Chelsea or Liverpool related regardless of whether they've played the night before. It's what sells now. There's a new religion in this world call celebrityism and sadly its getting bigger by the day.

Nobody in journalism cares about the supporters, they only care about who's dating who, who's been banned from driving etc.
You think of the power that a newspaper actually has even the Birmingham Mail for example, If they wanted to and cared enough they could put so much pressure on Lerner things would have to change.
I mean for years he's gotten away with "being shy" but I think you could say the same thing about many 'celebs' and yet the media hound them all over the globe. If I was a journalist Randy Lerner would be a challenge in the beginning and as time has progressed I would now be sitting on his doorstep ready to ask him on camera as soon as he left what he is doing to our club. You can't even be bothered to face us? Who the F*** do you think you are!?

It's sad.
