Just a thought, instead of trying to sign a left sided midfielder why don't we get a left back who can defend and play Amavi left side of midfield as his great at bombing forward and can crosss a mean ball. Just an idea.

Alternatively, buy another attacking right back such as Mee, go with 3 centre-backs and play them as wing-backs?

I like that idea but I remember when we tried Amavi there before, looked unconfident but can't judge him on one game there. You mean Bree or Mee Mendax? I thought Mee was a centre back.

I've also thought this many times. if Brady was to come in would be perfect as could switch at easy through the games and amavi bombs on Brady drops back and can defend. both good going both ways. amavi for me is a left sided kyle walker.

I'm not as keen on Brady as others seem to be. I've always thought he was overrated

How about Bacuna in a right wing back role? He's a good athlete, ideally it would be Trippier. Also, who would be the back 3? Chester would have to be the 'sweeper/ marshall' of that 3, Baker on the left, Elphick maybe, but I think we'd need someone with more height, Callum Chambers on loan?
