I know I have three c. backs, and three strikers! But you get the point!
Also! I accept these prob are not the best players as such! But these gave me the best memories!

Oh the Great Alex Cropley who could play even when felled to the floor, fantastic player. We have been so blessed over the years and sure other midland clubs couldn't match the many many teams over the decades featuring the likes of Pongo Waring, Billy Walker, Trevor Ford, Peter McParland, Johnny Dixon, Gerry Hitchens, Andy Lochead, Brian Lttle, Andy Gray, Gary Shaw, Tony Morley, David Platt Paul McGrath, Dwight York etc!

Nigel Sims,
Stan Lynn, got a shot like a tiger tank
Danny Blanchflower, silky smooth, made the Spuds great
Trevor Ford a no9 without peer
Peter Marland 2 MUFC 1
Geary Hitchens.
My old Dad would have gone for the Moss boys, and a raft of greats from the 30's
Problem with any choice is that most people only remember from 1990.
