Not got any problem with villa losing a game of football as long as they put in effort to try to win the game themselves,
But Saturday's game was not acceptable for me on the lack of effort by most of the players essentially in a derby,
The most one-sided derby you can get and wolves players must think Christmas came early for them,
We played the best team in championship for playing attacking football yet where was the closing down and the game was to open to allow there flair players to run riot,
You can blame the players or the manager for lack of awareness but one thing is clear we need a win Saturday because with birmingham coming up the following week it could really be crunch time,
We are still in touch with top 2 which is good because other results went our way and we did not lose any ground in table,
So come on villa put the Fulham side to the sword and show our great fans that you really want to get us back to the promised land,

Well said Mainbob, the one thing that worries me about fulham is that they play till the final whistle, don't give up, and i think i"m right in saying they've either won or rescued a game in the last ten minutes on a regular basis, so here's hoping brucie makes them put down their doughnuts and have a fruit and veg smoothie instead!

Classof82

I agree about Fulham,
They to are a good footballing side with some serious pace in side in forward area's
We will struggle against these type of sides due to our lack of pace in defence area's
Whelan and Terry were really up against it on Saturday and when the blues game comes around the following week they two have now some pace up top with vassel and Adams,
It's going to be a very interesting next 2 games that's for sure,
Up the villa anyway!

I have said it time after time that we are the most unfit side in championship
We can't play high tempo football for longer than a few minutes
We tread treacle in second half on a regular basis,
What are our players doing at bodymoor?

I reckon their dodging the salads and going for the stodge Mainbob! as for fitness, a couple of talking heads on the radio were saying they thought brucie has adopted the slow-burn technique, apparently meaning kinda steady-eddie paced as a matter of course, with shòrt bursts of high tempo when able, not sure i agree with that explanation, but they said it means less injuries over the season, and coming towards the end of the season, in theory players have more in the tank to up their game? above and beyond my thinking, but there you go!
