Hi Guys,

Had my first Villa Park experience at the weekend and what an experience it was. Been a Villa fan since I was a kid, fell in love with them during the era of McGrath and the other Irish contingent, but I have to say the derby was an eye opening experience and I'm already planning my next visit - Amazing atmosphere.

So, we are in 2nd place and automatic promotion is in our own hands - If (Sorry, When) we go up automatically, what do you think we need next season to cement a place in the Premier League?

I've been having a think and assuming we sign Sam Johnstone and Robert Snodgrass on permanent deals I feel we still need another 6 Players to go into the first team - I think we need a LB, RB, CB, MF, ST. I would love Terry to stay for a further year but we may need a younger model at CB?

Johnstone,

New RB, Chester, New CB, New LB

Hourihane, New MF

Snodgrass, Grealish, Adomah

Kodjia

What players would you like us to sign?

Agree with most of it, but remember we still need to go and sign Johnstone and Snodgrass permanently. Given a run in the side I think Taylor will regain his confidence and form so could probably get away with him at left back for a season, but if we could go an get someone like Joe Bryan from Bristol that would be brilliant. Ideally I think we need a new striker, on top form and fitness Kodjia is good enough for the prem but it’s about getting him fit and firing and keeping him there. If it was an ideal world I’d love to see us go and sign:
Johnstone
Trippier
Mawson/ Flint
Bryan
Wanyama/ Schneiderlin
Snodgrass
Benteke

If we don’t bring in a good few players especially at centre back and a goal scorer it’s going to be a hard season, and whoever we do get needs to be proven premier league quality who will hit the ground running.

It's great to think about who to sign next year when we are in premiership?
The trouble is we are not up yet,
Loads of fans now think it's a certainly we are up on here and on radio phone ins,
I really hope we go up but I'm keeping my powder dry for now,
We have had two many false dawns for my liking,
On paper we are going up in my eyes with the fixtures left but let's just take one game at a time,
Then it's party time hopefully,

We have a massive game this weekend, if we beat Fulham we really have to start thinking about the Premiership

I'm not usually one to get carried away, and fully appreciate people keeping their powder dry, but we could be 3 points clear in 2nd come Sunday night as Cardiff play Boro, that has draw written all over it. If that happens, and taking the fixtures into account between now and the end of the season I think we will be up.

ChrisAVFC those are some ambitious signs but funny enough I was thinking about Schneiderlin and Benteke myself - The amount of times Grealish is fouled in forward areas, add to that the delivery of Snodgrass, Benteke could thrive!

I really hope you are correct with your score prediction over w/ end,
On paper this is our hardest game away from home,
Nothing would please me more if we catch wolves,
Wolves supporters already celebrating the champions title,
15 games and anything can happen for the better or worse,
Cross your fingers mate.
