It looks like we are getting new ceo in christian purlslow good move that is . also Abrahams has changed his mind and wants to join us could be a good 2day an hopefully a new cb aswell.

Because ed he has been at 2 of biggest clubs in the world in lpool N chelsea, he got chelsea that massive sponsorship deal and is respected so I hear his cv is good there is more aswell also his marketing work is good which is a good thing for villa to move and become a bigger brand.

{Ed001's Note - he was a disaster at Liverpool. Though he was involved in a very dubious deal to bring in FSG, considering his then position, afterwards he made a complete mess of things and it was a relief when he went and the club only really made significant progress once he was gone.

As for Chelsea, you or me could probably have got that deal done mate. Companies are desperate to throw money at Premier League clubs these days. I don't know of anything else he did at Chelsea, but it was clearly not enough for them to be that bothered about holding on to him.}

He was behind Liverpool's massive sponsorship deal. Had some issues there yes. But also behind the Nike deal for Chelsea. However Tom fox was behind the puma deal at arsenal, and enough said there.

{Ed001's Note - he never had any involvement in that at Liverpool. That was Ayre who got the big sponsorship deals at Liverpool. Purslow was behind screwing over his bosses to bring in FSG for a hostile takeover. Which has worked out well now, but it took him leaving before it became a positive, as he was a hindrance.}
