Tammy has made his decision and we must respect this. Based on his mercenary choice he will prove to one and all that he is not premiership quality. We have seen his limitations first hand, he will be a squad player at wolves will score a handful of goals and move permanently next season for a championship side for top money. I find it difficult to wish him well, however it is the nature of modern greedy footballers and agents so we shouldn't be surprised by his choices. Smith needs to take a good hard look at our forward options, knowing Hogan and Kodja can't deliver we need investment badly and quickly.

This is what is wrong with footballers 2day no1 bigger than villa mate, yes he's good but there's been better strikers at villa, personally i think it won't be that much of a loss with big davis coming bck with kodja, an bolasie up top we will be fine especially if we get naupauy aswell.

If this loan to Wolves is sanctioned by FIFA and the FA what does it say about the EFL2, does it mean that any yellow and red cards can be ignored when players play for the 1st team?
Why should clubs play in games that are meaningless.
Would the rules be the same if Premiership clubs were not involved?
I am not that bothered that Tammy is going it's his call but it annoys me that even though he is on loan to the Villa he just gives up on training we are paying him after all. I believe that he should be fined and salaries witheld and he should realise that one day when things aren't going to plan lower clubs might remember his behaviour in thinking that he is more important than a football club.

It’s hard not to feel angry, frustrated and more importantly ‘weakened’ by losing Abraham this way. But we have to move on. Maybe without him there Davis, Kod, hogan may get some time to build some confidence / maybe we will sign maupay. But imagine how Brentford fans must feel when we just keep plucking their ‘star men’ away. Recalling loans has also assisted villa - steer, elphick, maybe even green, sending back that keeper to Atl Madrid. Let’s face it - if Hanuary came and went and we did nothing at all we had serious problems at the back. So let’s play the cards we have, and move on. Fresh optimism - starting this weekend v Wigan.
