We are all delighted that Tammy has made his choice but at the end of the seas? on will we be able to buy him for whatever price Chesea put on him.?
Thinking forwards towards next season should we be lookingat Maupay as a replacement and buying him now.
Deano knows him well and he does have a bargaining tool in Hogan who I think would be delighted to go back to Brentford.
Could be good for us and Brentford.

Someone must be looking ahead!
This is essential in any business if success is to be acheived.
Deano keeps hold of Tammy till May then has to look for another striker as Chelsea will definitely want Tammy back. Maupay by then 25m or with another club.
Even worse Tammy changes his mind on Jan 31st and we have no time to look for another striker.
15/ 18m now for Maupay and we are quids in as the lad will develop with us.
Deane would likely play Tammy for 60 mins then Maupay till the end or any other pattern.
Hogan needs to go elsewhere to get a game as he is only a bit part at the moment. Kodjia needs to know that he is not guaranteed time on the pitch.
The time is now to formulate a side that can rise to the heights of the prem. This is what the top teams are doing but in a way we cant. They buy players then loan them out till needed or to stop other clubs buying them
Old business addage states "Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. " We've been there and failed and I don't want that experiance again.
Perhaps this year we fail again so preperation must be for next year and a great push.
NSWE appear to be willing to wait for success but they will not wait for ever.

Chelsea only have till the 14th to recall him, so Tammy leaving at the end of the month is not a concern, if we buy a centre forward at the moment he won't play, so things are not so urgent, let's see what the end of Jan brings.
