Ok folkes this is it and I hope you all agree no player is bigger than there club no matter what and if Delph and benteke wants to leave then so be it I hope they Google aston villa rumours and see these posts because as a football fan and a villa fan I hope you stay I'm not the only one to say it but there are millions out there who say it too, they are good and really good because they play for the villa a club that as brought them on leaps and bounds the same with Kyle walker, James Milner, Ashley Young etc etc they will only shine for us because the club will play around you move away boys and drop your standards because the big teams don't care if that's what you want but there is only one big genuine club in the premier and that's the mighty villa should be proud to put on the shirt
Again lads it's loyalty and I know u all think same old same old but they need to take a leaf out of gabbys book cus a few seasons ago he could of easily been an arsenal player right or wrong

And gabby an arsenal player??? Really?? I play average Sunday league football, and he would struggle to get in my team, let alone arsenal.

Sorry but fickle and nieve come to mind. Last season Villa were the worst team not to get relegated, we offer very little to big players.
And if you were offered more money to do the same job elsewhere with a much higher chance of silverwear, trophies etc. what would you do? Loyalty does not exist in football, money talks.

I hear Liverpool have signed another player clyne from Southampton to be perfectly honest i don't think it matters how many players they buy they will be like man City in the champions league never compete with the best and I think Liverpool do the same in the premier league yes they finished second a couple of seasons ago but I really don't think Rodgers will ever get it right just my thoughts

They only finished second because of Luis Suarez too (and remember he was there before Rodgers was appointed), and the players they are bringing in are nowhere the same quality.

True Mendax - but as a fan of football in general its nice to occasionally discuss the opposition too. And it makes up for the lack of stuff going on at Villa at the moment. Should really heat up when/if the takeover happens and an official announcement is made.

Hi mendax,I know where your coming from mate but being a football fan it's a bit heartbreaking when a massive club like us is selling our best players to the likes of Liverpool and then being made a laughing stock for making a bid for a Stoke goal keeper it really does get your back up so a bit of bitterness to Liverpool yes mate and I really hope my prediction of Liverpool not doing anything really does stand up

I'm starting to think the same mate.
If I was a serious buyer, and any serious buyer knows they need to invest as the playing staff is bottom five at best, you would want it finished BEFORE start of transfer window, and definitely before pre season starts.

Been told that the ground is being extended for more seats around another 20,000 my mate works for a company that do this kind of stuff and he's been told that they have got to quote some work there if this is true then surely we have got to be heading one way and that's to play at the top.

Cuckoo land mate. We're closing the top of the Trinity for next season. Who in their right mind is then going to then spend a fortune to increase the capacity at the same time. I suspect the work your mate has been asked to quote for is the alterations to the Lower North Stand where they are removing 7 rows of seats to provide more disabled access viewing. If it was for a new stand it would take them the next 12-18 months to get an initial design, then planning permission and then a detailed design in place.

Maybe the reason moyes as turned down the job is because he might have been offered another job at a prem club or abroad again just because he isn't coming to us doesn't mean that we are in a dark hole no one knows anything about this new owner yet so let's get behind the club and hopefully everything turns out good.

Johnny Evans is average who would you replace for him Clark-no okore-no Richards-no agree we need another cb to push Richards to RB but for me Johnny Evans wouldn't get in before Clark or okore!! I was at the game as well and I agree bucuna and Hutton were pants never sure what they have to do for me I like Sinclair and he looked sharp at times but he's not a number 9 for me we defo need two strikers taking nothing away from kozak he worked his socks off and scored a lovely goal but it ain't good enough for prem, there was some good points amavi was class, Richards got into the game,guey was really ropey at start looked like Sanchez when he first started but then he game into the game really impressed we still need a lot of improvement though
