Heard a little rumour we making a last ditch attempted to sign diame from Hull. Newcastle in pole position but what a coup that could be if can snatch another player from another rival. Would add much needed influence in centre of the park what you think guys.

Personally I think Quique flores (former Watford manager) could be a good shout don't know why he hasn't been mentioned. Will be settled in England knows the championship and the premier league. Got good blend of football and gets best out of players and isn't too bad in transfer market defo worth a mention . Anyone else agree?

how does he know the championship. he took over Watford as a premiership side. that's why he's not been mentioned. if we going for good manager but with no championship experience there are loads of managers we could go for.

Mentioned him along with several out of work managers that would fit the bill some weeks back.
There are so many proven runners that should be considered before a final decision is made.
The problem we have is that none of the selectors seem to agree and the managers that they want don't want AVFC.
At present we are a poison chalice known for more managers than transfers and until a solid base is in place AVFC are a very unattractive option, even if you are out of work.
Kingvilla, you clearly stated that the new manager had already been employed and the announcement would follow the name of the new owner. It would appear that this was a bit of a fantasy on your part.
Now I am not getting at you as you did come up with the Chinese buyer but I will not be asking you for this week's lottery numbers.

Reading randys statement one thing sticks out like a sore thumb the fact that Dr Tony is relying on the stadium to creat funds to potentially develope the squad. To me that sounds pretty much like renaming the stands for sponsor money and relying on that and creating a huge fan Base in the gar East with merchandise sales. The fact we can't find this guys wealth and those comments make me think we will not have the buckets loads of cash that we all hoped for but I hope I'm wrong utv.

Played bout 20 games for man utd I think van gaal used him when he had is defensive injury crises. He strong, good in the air. He would be a like for like for Clark tbh so could see it being a realistic target.

Being reported that offer is 12m plus add on so can see it being 2m add of if we get promoted which isn't a lot when you earn over 100m for promotion. Would like to see a cm like Sandro in there bit of steal good at going forward too to play along side tshibola. Gives grelish freedom to play just off mccormack if deal happens. Traora and green on wings as I am predicting ayew will go.

Agree with you renn1975. Good things come to thoes who wait. i'd rather be cautious and productive rather then rash and dreadful like we was in last summers window. Still worry we are short upfront. With question marks over ayew staying but eithan if he does he will be going African cup of nations so we need more cover still need a right back and box to box midfield.

Fingers crossed this deal gets done what we bein crying out for some one who knows where goal is, can drop deep, confidant on the ball, not afraid to run at defenders, something haven't seen down vp since jpa had his purple patch. Can frighten defenders in to mistakes utv.
