Tammy turns down wolves! 😱.

1.) 08 Jan 2019 12:56:27
He wanted to stay with the bigger club.

2.) 08 Jan 2019 13:40:25
Wait till the news comes out that fifa rejected the move.

3.) 08 Jan 2019 16:11:52
Wolves fan seems to have gone quiet haha.

4.) 12 Jan 2019 17:47:33
Not as quiet as it is in here today!
lol. 🤭🤭🤭🤭
Wigan 🙈

I can not believe the club are turning their backs on Hutton.
Most committed and underrated player we have. Best right back, best left back. always an out for the ball, and is genuinely our enforcer, never moans, from what I hear first at training, and last to leave. yet the club willing to turn back on him.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 15:39:22
Alan hutton is committed and he tackles like johnny giles chin up alan hutton.

2.) 31 Jan 2018 15:58:02
How long should we keep hutton his been good but his ageing Flackie not good enough for the premier league.

3.) 31 Jan 2018 17:48:17
So he isn’t good enough as a squad player?
Whether you think him rubbish or not good enough he has earnt the right to be offered a contract, and whether he good enough, he is still the best at the club, on both flanks!

03 Jul 2017 13:04:09
Terry signed

Didn't see that coming.

1.) 03 Jul 2017 13:53:14
I know what a surprise.

2.) 03 Jul 2017 15:27:50
Im bowled over.

3.) 03 Jul 2017 23:40:54
Have we signed john terry or something?

30 Dec 2016 10:43:04
Heard a rumour Richards to china for 5 mil
Not sure if we pay them, or they pay us. either way, it's a good deal.

1.) 03 Jan 2017 19:10:11
Most of the recycling is sent to china for reuse. Makes sense we start sending our rubbish (Richards) as well lol.

27 Jul 2016 20:58:58
Moyes pulls plug on Richards going to Sunderland.
Perhaps Moyes knows more about football than I thought.

1.) 27 Jul 2016 23:09:40
I absolutely agree with that. If Moyes had signed him for £5million I would have celebrated all summer! Richards is never ever a premiership centre half, and
I'm truely amazed he ever thought he could be, he is quite Simply the worst example I have ever seen in a Villa shirt! Totally disillusioned and robbing a living
as a footballer.

Hello everyone, I wanted to come back for one last post as I wanted to say my farewells, my thanks and clear the air.

Firstly, to ‘most’ members, and I hope you people know who I mean, even back when mendax was still here, I’d like to say thank you, we had good chats, debates, disagreements and laughs.

Secondly, to the editors, (especially ed01) I think the majority of you do a great job, I’m assuming this is a free service you provide, in your spare time, so although we have had many arguments, I’m in awe, and appreciate what you give, and do. Thank you.

Ok. I’d like to leave, explaining why I, like in my opinion most, are leaving, in a hope you could stop the flood. there is an undercurrent on this page from posters, that feeds on doom, gloom, and misery. That swallows every thread, every post and all discussions and becomes boring, exhausting, and extremely frustrating. Say something, give your opinion, once you’ve given, stop beating the drum.
There is also a feeling from a certain editor, to totally belittle people’s thoughts, to talk at them, and to shut threads down. The way this Ed speaks to people is embarrassing, and if I heard my children talk this way they would be reprimanded and taught how to talk to people. Most, if not all members on here, are grown ups. We should be spoken with, not at, and with respect.

I doubt this will be posted. but I hope so.
I’m truly sorry to be leaving, and wish everyone a happy future.

{Ed001's Note - take care mate, sorry to see you go. Unfortunately when a club is in trouble at the foot of the table it does tend to lead to a lot of doom and gloom! Hopefully see you back some day.}

07 Jan 2020 20:50:54
Going to put it out there that Leicester will give city a good game in the final!

1.) 07 Jan 2020 21:03:22
1st of all Hiya Flacks hope and trust your family are OK bud? 2nd we are going to smash Leicester 5-2 on agg. 3rd We will then smash Man c in final 3-1.4th You want some of these drugs it's bloody good rubbish ya know matw.

2.) 07 Jan 2020 21:25:06
A tad presumptuous Flackie.

3.) 07 Jan 2020 21:32:08
Hahaha Ed good editing there👍👍.

4.) 08 Jan 2020 11:21:32
What you been up too Daz?

5.) 08 Jan 2020 16:09:52
Well Dave where I responded to Flacks post on the last bit Ed editited Sxxxt to rubbish which I found quite amusing in my own silly way.

6.) 08 Jan 2020 16:12:30
And I only got some of the rubbish off some of them on here anyway if you know what I mean Dave🤔🤔🤔.

7.) 08 Jan 2020 21:36:22
I know mate, 😉.

15 Aug 2019 19:53:19
I think what’s being posted about Tammy on social media is disgusting.

I know it’s chelsea ‘fans’ doing it, but it makes my psis boil. I’m ashamed to breath the same air.

How in 2019 is this still happening?

1.) 15 Aug 2019 22:12:57
(Thank you Ed’s, appreciate the post edit! )

{Ed001's Note - you did that yourself mate!}

2.) 16 Aug 2019 00:30:40
Flackie I agree, this problem seems to be getting worse . But this is modern technology, people think they can abuse, because they remain anonymous. To abuse anybody like this is bad, but your own player is, just unbelievable.
The problem has spread, all through society. Young school kids, teenagers committing suicide because of it .
We can all as supporters, become irate at, what can happen in a game . But this is just vile and beyond normal .

3.) 16 Aug 2019 11:34:26
It's happening Flacks I think because the F.A have got no danglers. They should ban the fans fine them and deduct points perhaps then the majority will stand up to these animals and get them kicked out of their clubs.

02 Jul 2019 22:54:48
Is it just me, or isn’t wellbeck on a free a no brainer?

1.) 02 Jul 2019 23:07:28
I’m surprised he’s not been snapped up already. we should definitely go in for him. can cover centre forward or left wing.

2.) 03 Jul 2019 00:12:04
Perhaps being put off by, his record of injuries. He hasn't played that often, in the last couple of seasons . I agree if fit he’s one of the best finishers about and for free, he’s worth a shout .
Onwards and Upwards Villaforever.

3.) 03 Jul 2019 05:32:02
If there’s a case for Wellbeck, there’s a case for Sturrdge, and 100% a case for getting Cahill, we definitely need a bit of experience in the squad with all the younger players we’ve been linked with. It seems to me a lot off the players that we on here are putting forward are looking at their resale value, we’re Premier League now, act like we want it to stay that way

4.) 03 Jul 2019 09:36:59
Wages is the issue. If you're outlaying several million a season you are going to want something in return other than a hefty medical bill and I'm guessing their agents aren't too keen on a pay as you play deal.

5.) 03 Jul 2019 11:14:24
Wages and injuries the big thing with Sturridge and Welbeck, both brilliant players when fully fit but over and extended period they’ve shown they can’t stay fit, Cahills biggest problem is wages and age, if we haven’t signed a first team right footed centre half come a week before spurs, I reckon they’ll go for him.

6.) 03 Jul 2019 13:39:44
My maths on Cahill would be he’s 33, free transfer, £100K per week? Jedinak was 33, cost around £3.5M, wages of at least £50K for 3 years and probs started 50 games tops, Jedinak cost around £10M all told in the Championship, Cahill be roughly the same in the Premier for 2 years where there’s bigger money to be spent, Jedinak had no resale value and served a purpose, Cahill would do the same for a couple of seasons and no resale value. That’s where I’d come from on free transfers

7.) 03 Jul 2019 17:12:03
Did sturridge and wellbeck set the premier alight, no! Did they show class at times yes! Could you trust them to play a full season definitely no! Is it worth the risk to pay them a fortune for z risky return definitely no! . So I am confident Deano will leave well alone.

8.) 03 Jul 2019 21:00:48
Let’s not be ignorant now, Sturridge scored 21 in 29 at one stage in his career, so to say he didn’t light the league up that year is madness.

9.) 03 Jul 2019 23:14:02
As usual cavfc is always right, none of the managers have shown faith in either wellbeck or sturridge, let's pay them 100k a week to join McCormack.

10.) 04 Jul 2019 12:49:55
Don’t get upset scotcaffu, it’s a fact that he scored 21 in 29 and Rodgers showed a lot of faith in him that season. If you think that’s not setting the league a light then that’s your opinion, if that’s the case thought considering our position as newly promoted side I’d like to know what you expect from our strikers this year?

As I said I wouldn’t sign either due to injures age and wages, doesn’t mean I’m going to be ignorant to the fact they are both very good players.

11.) 04 Jul 2019 14:56:35
Let’s not forget too that even though Wesley looks the part, he might be a monumental flop, it’s 50/ 50. Kodjia might catch fire in the Prem, he might not. Hogan given the service could be lethal. Out of Sturridge and Wellbeck, I’d see Sturridge as an upgrade on what we’ve got, Wellbeck as someone who’ll do a job, if they’re both managed well with fitness and coaching, would be an asset to us, and they would only cost use wages/ signing on fee. IMO, Cahill and Sturridge are the 2 best free transfers out there that any team outside of the top 6 should be busting a nut to get. Agreed it would be great to sign up and coming hungry players exclusively, but it’s not the 1 and only way to do things. On a side note, we’re all desperate to sign Mings and it looks like it’ll cost close to £20M, without doing checking, he’s probs spent more or roughly the same amount of time out injured as Wellbeck/ Sturridge over the past few seasons. If signed, Mings will become a B6 legend I’m sure, some of the free transfers out there could do the same

He had to be recalled by the 14th. He can’t have his loan cancelled now until end of season.

I honestly don’t think we will go down mate.

But we need to address the goals conceded, that’s more of a worry than the goals scored.
