I agree totally. We seem to be a club that players want to sign for once again.
I hope that Jedinak will replace Ashley " landcrab " Westwood and we sign a top midfielder to create chances.
With another quality forward we could then get the points required to get into the top 2. No doubt.
With attendances seemingly going to average 35,000 the outlook is rosy!

Morning all! I'm not on Twitter but can someone please contact Dr Tony and tell him to sign Assombalonga! Forest had him on the bench last week and what a mistake! Nakhi Wells would be a good addition but for out and out power and eye for goal a fit Britt would be awesome! And yeah I agree RB and ST and business should be done, also wouldn't mind Traore getting rid and the link with Ravel Morrison to cons to fruition! I know he has some attitude issues but if RDM and Clarke can get his head right what a quality player! Oh and big up the Mighty Jedinak! I was one over the moon when we were linked with him and we got him BOOM! UTV.

After reading a few of the latest interviews with Ravel, he said he really regrets his behaviour earlier in his career and it seems like his head is coming right, I reckon he has something to prove. I would sign him on a 1 year contract and see what he has got to prove.

When asombalonga was at Peterborough he was a very talented striker with a great eye for goal and one heck of a power shot. Would be a great option for villa.

Can someone explain to me how Andre Ayew is quoted to be a £20m target for West Ham and the better if the 2 brothers Jordan Ayew is being linked with a £8m move? Surely the figures are way out on these?

Would tend to agree. Andre has Slightly better strike rate - about 30% as opposed to Jordan on 25% - but not enough to warrant a 12 million price difference.

If we do sign Ross, we are not far away. But we do need a general in the midfield. This guy ticks the box for me, goals, tackles, experience.

Before we start ditching Westwood let's remember Steve Davies, now at Saints and showing real class at the Euros, players like Westwood do what they are coached to do! Remember this guy was playing for Crewe and got thrown into a poor Premiership team and expected to be the next Gordon Cowans or whatever for us! Give him a break, let him be coached by the right team we have in place now and build a half decent, hard working and creative team around him. And lastly if we want to criticise anyone it's players like: Guzan, Bunn, Lescott, Richards, Bacuna (Absolute joke) N'Zogbia, Crespo, Agbonlahor, Sinclair (to a point) Grealish (poor attitude) Sanchez (for doing some awesome midfield work but then poorly giving possession away to often) and does anyone know where Kozak is? Surely a season in the championship would be good for a fit goalscorer like him?

Hey ChirsAVFC, my first post so go easy on me! The link with Williams is not bad but I don't rate him any better than Westwood, Sanchez, Gardner all of which have pledged to stay. Don't know a lot about Kane Hemmings but he's young, voted their player of season and is cheap at 1m, Gunter is a Right Back is he not? So losing Amavi wouldn't make a difference, be interesting to see what line up he goes with though, Gk still needed and Replacement for Amavi if he goes, I like Elphick and Okore/ Clark for season, out with Lescott, Crespo, and? On Hutton, Richards, Cissokho. Would love to see Assombalonga and Gayle at the Villa, really think Assombalonga is under rated, a real Heskey/ Les Ferdinand type player.
