1.) That would be nice. When typing 'micky' into google though the first name that came up was Mickey Mouse. Surely he's with a few bob!

3.) If you follow the link it takes you to a story from the telegraph, this story says that both are interested of buying villa as a partnership. But once again we have to be patient
4.) Micky Arison has been selling his shares lately to fund an investment for Aston Villa with Larry Ellsion. Hopefully true we need some money.
5.) I really don't understand why a man who's worth 50 billion dollars would want to part own a prem club, why not just buy it on his own?

6.) Going into a business with a partner is less of a risk and Ellison may be worth 50 billion but a lot of his money is reserved for charity.

2.) Doug Ellis clearly hasn't got a clue what's happening in his own head, let alone what's happening with the sale of villa.

That's the most ignorant and stupid comment to come off this site, and that's saying a lot, because there's a lot of stupid comments on here, but your comment is far beyond anything I'd expect to come from a fan.
If Birmingham City, Portmouth, Blackburn, Coventry, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham Forrest, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham were more "picky" when selling to new owners then they'd still be in the prem or they would have been back in the prem a long time back.
Not to mention they would never have been on the verge of closure.
Lerner needs to get the right owners, not another Venky/Gaydemak type of owner who promise everything and only offer destruction an liquidation.

1.) Keen was a good player. but in management he's been a massive flop. as for senderos that would be 2 steps backward
2.) Keane officially withdraws from ITV coverage
3.) Keane is what we need Lambert refuses to criticize our player Keane will tell then straight. He could make delph into a world class midfielder
4.) My first reaction was negative but thinking about it I think Keane would really help some of the current players development. obviously we need investment along with new players but that's another story.

Keane wasn't that much of a flop, he got sunderland back to the PL after smashing the championship (over 100 points) and was unfairly dismissed at ipswich (a poor championship side at the time) after a win percentage of just under 40%, which isn't amazing but there are bosses out there with much worse records.
7.) Not sure about adding Keene to the management team. Does he really want to be Lambert's number two, and what does that tell us about sale of the club?

apparently Lerners restaurant in new York is closed all day and night this Friday. could be to talk with lambert and Faulkner, or could be the staff meeting the new owners?
1.) It's strange that lambert and falkiner need to go to New York to be told something effectively via email or phone? Meeting the new owner to find out their plans sounds more realistic as each day passes! And can anyone tell me if aston villa has to be officially stated as "on the market" or for sale for legal purposes even if they already have a buyer?

3.) The fact is that Aston Villa have already found a buyer it is Red Bull. This was a done deal months ago I promise you it is true.
They will not be changing the team colors or anything like that at all. They have been after a Premiership side for ages and Villa fit what they are after. Villa's history and tradition are the biggest factors.
They want to make Villa big in Asia as are Man Utd. Expect an announcement soon and then the best news of all a new Manager. Benitez and Moyes are in the frame.
I promise you this is true, it is a done deal Red Bull are the new owners of Villa.
4.) I have to agree, if lambert was on his way, faulkner could have done it on behalf of the chairman, I'm sure that's what happened to mccliesh. Who knows what is happening behind closed doors, we will have to wait till Friday

where has all the cra p about lambert staying come from? he's gone, watch this space.
1.) Really hope your right jimbob. But lerner isn't going to go through the hassle of sacking an appointing.
2.) How long do we have to watch the space? People saying you wait and see Monday lambert will be gone it's Monday. All the paper talk is of lambert staying (for now) yes, in the mean time how many of our players are we going to loose? And who would really be the right manager to take over if we did manage to get larry Ellison and his major bucks in, who would know how to spend it right and not just blow it cause it's there? I'm sure like most other villa fans we have more questions then there are answers
3.) PL will be staying. I have posted this for several weeks and been amazed at some of the s. t that this has raised. Get ready for the fact that AVFC is for sale but that does not mean we will have a new owner in the near future. PL may well have stated the players that he wants but if Lerner is still here we know that PL will be hung out to dry. PL is not the problem! Do you think that he wants to be at the bottom of the prem? If we get a new owner PL will be given the chance to prove himself with real money and then if he fails he knows where the exit doors are. Ellison, Red Bull, Simpson & Davis, all are mere fantasy by the posters. Some body said the bloke on the door told him who the buyer was. My dustman told me who the buyer was. Don't go down the bookies with your money, it may not happen!
