The Sun have us and Spurs looking at stealing Bafetimbi Gomis from Swansea. Apparently he has a release clause of just £7m in his contract. Would love this to be true as he is a great player.

Can someone tell me why gomis would leave swansea, who have a great setup, a very well run team,for us? Who at moment are not exactly offering a awful. Sorry but that's the hard truth.

He is 30 years old and will be looking for a last big pay day. He was signed from Lyon as a backup to Bony so doubt he is on very big wages, if he was then the clause would be higher than 7m. He did sign on a free though so who knows.

Austin started 35 league games last season so his knee can't be that bad. He also passed a medical at QPR after the one he failed. The contact's TS has at QPR he should know if it is an issue or not. I just want a decent goalscoring replacement for Gabby, don't really care who it is. Saw on MOTD last night that Newcastle's NET spend is now 48m, makes our business so far look very tame.

On the FM15 update with the new transfers; at the beginning of the second season Delph only made 6 appearances for City and is currently on loan at WBA and available to buy for £4.7m haha

Apparently Demerai Gray has a £4m buyout clause and is very highly rated. Does anyone know anything about him? Doubt TS is looking at him but if he is as good as I've heard we could do a cheap bid and let him join a big club

Buy young and cheap and sell high is a good model but we have to stay up this season or we miss out on a ridiculous amount of TV money and to do that we need players who will instantly lift us. We need a better balance.

The best choice of Assistant is somebody that Garde actually wants and Black is this. Also, Little has just taken a job managing Jersey so would have time constraints. Adding someone like that to the Board though would go down well.
{Ed007's Note - Eric Black played for Metz for a while back in the 80's so perhaps him and Garde's paths have crossed before and they've known each other for years.}

I'm hoping that we have identified targets and already started negotiations; so that we bring players in as soon as high earning flops are moved on. Freeing up wages and slots in the 25 man squad. I can't see us signing anyone until space is made as we already have Senderos getting paid for doing nothing.
