Well for me we are relegated now so hope the owners learn by there mistakes hiring somebody to buy your players for you instead of the manager. Benrarma scored again tonight for brentford. For me change is needed including manager now. Its hard to get out that championship we had jack tammy an mgcinn b4 an only just went up. We need to play as a team.

We were down at Xmas walkies not changing manager b4 xamas and virus mate, this club will never learn, let the manager pick his own players wots wrong with that, I'd go for Tim sherwood.

Your twin brother was just saying the other day we SHOULD STICK BY DEAN SMITH, I think you did to have a chat with him and get you stories straight matey! lol!

I still believe Smiths a good manager but its obv we are gona make massive changes and what i mean is if you don't trust him to buy his own players then you have to sack him because its obv that they don't trust him. Is smith a good manager yes is it time for him to leave yes 1 reason his been through a lot as villa manager in two years and it takes it out of you plus i don't belive he can attract massive names.

So i wish a lot well terry smith a lot of the players but i think we need a major clear out! Sherwood was a great manager for us mate but for me there's only 1 and its rafa but if you don't let any manager buy his own players gona be tough. Villa owners thanx for saving us but please pick a manager an let him buy the players.

Villa4eva-i know you didn't fella, me neither, i was talking about walkies changing his tune, smith is a busted flush, if we go down I'd like a real football manager, one the players will run through brickwalls for, for me I'd like Paul Cook from Wigan, never got the praise he deserves, always gets more than he should from his squads, been at big clubs like Portsmouth when they were in free fall and turned them around, always is a great motivator, and for those on here who would say we're too big for the likes of Paul Cook, that was levelled at a certain manager who went from Lincoln City to Watford, and funnily enough, he didn't turn out too bad as I remember for Watford, or us-Paul Cook, it's a no brainer for me.

I thought the rumour is Cook is going to Burnley to replace Dyche.

ChrisAVFC-you can be as condescending as you like fella, Paul Cook has always put a team that tries, when it's gone wrong he's changed things around and made it work, he's a real football man who the players have respected, I don't know of anyone who thinks he couldn't do a good job at a massive club, maybe he's not as exciting sounding as some foreign, just retired, mid thirties ex-player who thinks they know it all, but the difference is he has done it, I bet you'd be scoffing now if i had put forward the likes of Greame Taylor from (as was) Lincoln City as well because he had only managed at the lower level, you make me laugh.

Watched Portsmouth time and time again under Paul Cook, as my step dad is a pompey fan. Cook is a nob, as arrogant as they come and plays god awful football. Give him 5 games here and you’d be calling for his head. Where you’ve got “ when it's gone wrong he's changed things around and made it work” I don’t know, I’ve seen him put centre halves up front whilst having the previous seasons top scorer on the bench. He is stagnant, could change a game and can’t adapt to opponents. Nothing to do with him being a manager in the lower leagues, I just know enough about him first hand, not googling his record, to know that any team wanting to progress will be giving him a wide berth.

Wasn’t being condescending, just banter mate, we aren’t actually on a train muck.

walk the walk, Smith's not a good manager. I don't understand where this praise of him comes from.

ChrisAVFC-We'll have to agree to disagree, it's just I know a few people who say the opposite-and that's the beauty of football! -so just to reiterate -after talking it over we're agreed I'm right! lol! -anyways, it'll never happen, there's a cold wind blowing in from from Holland and it's whispering the name of Alan Pardew -now that's a worry I wasn't expecting!

Please please please tell me your joking 82😂🙈 I think Pardews 10 year deal with Newcastle only finished up the other week! Blokes a nightmare😂 I’ve thought about it for ages and can’t think of a realistic manager I’d want if they did sack Smith, weird one.

ChrisAVFC - Thats the rumour from the land of cloggers! -the only other name being put forward is Chris Hughton-good steady manager IF we go down, but somehow I think the fan Base may not appreciate percentage football! -give it 24 hours, and before you know it we'll have Greame Sounness in charge! happy days! -time for my medication again!
