Sure is Dave personally I think it's a step in the right direction. Will they employ another one or just let Deano have a free reign? I just don't know but if it's the latter and we get the players Deano wants and we struggle you can bet your bottom dollar he won't be in a job by Christmas that's for sure.

Spot on Daz, if they are going to use someone in that capacity, why not use Brian Little, Stan Petrov, or Ian Tayor.
People who have the club at heart, and not the money.
I am sure Deano would flourish with people like that behind him.

Petrov is a hero but he was the one who pushed to sign Tonev. Club legends don't necessarily equal good scouts.
Wouldn't say no to Little though, he had a decent recruitment record and gave youngsters chances.
