If 5-6 do come in, we really do need to move some others on. Our recent record for obtaining sale fees has been poor.

Off the top of my head, Nyland, Elmohamady, Taylor, Lansbury, Jota, Hogan and Davis have less than 12 months to run on their deals, so I would probably start there and add Kalinic in for good measure.

With a nominated squad of 25, excluding youngsters, some careful pruning out is needed.

If one of the 5-6 is another keeper which is looking increasingly likely, I think you might be able to add Jed Steer to that list AJ, as I doubt he would be content being 3rd choice keeper.
Not everybody will agree with me about this, but I don’t think we should sell Davis. He’s a talented lad and if he could just find that goal scoring touch, he would be a huge asset. If Watkins and Wilson sign as anticipated, granted Davis would probably be 4th choice striker at best. I’m sure Championship clubs would be queuing up to take him on loan for a season, and that way he would get plenty of game time to gain his confidence in front of goal.

That’s a fair shout MDF (that’s not meant to be disparaging! ) .

Davis is a real hard one to sort out. Great hold up play, physically strong for a young lad. Just needs to find the net. Maybe a loan down to the Championship might help him find his way.

Steer - yes, he is no longer a youngster. Maybe Sinasalo should take on the third keeper’s birth.
