Dave, what I like about Watkins is that he is a six yard box man. gets the scrappy goals which count. So I say let's give him the support and hope he fires on all cylinders.

It’s a lot of money but he has mine and I hope all our fans best wishes and support and if he takes a while to settle for gods sake let’s not get on his, the teams or the managers back that won’t achieve anything.

The one thing about the fee is that Exeter will receive around £4 million from this sale and given the privations that smaller clubs are suffering from due to the virus this should help keep them afloat, the last thing any of us football supporters should want is for smaller community clubs going to the wall as they are often the bedrock of these places so good luck Exeter and all the lower league clubs here’s hoping you come through this unscathed.

Well said John, and my sentiments exactly.
Exeter is only down the road from where we live, and we visit there and Exmouth on a regular basis.
The money will be more than welcome I am sure.
