Does any1 think we should change and get rid of director of football and our scouts and pay to get proper good scouts who have found good players and have a reasonable success rate at finding players, like surely you would think we would have scouts based in France looking at players that's a hot place where good players have come from, also Italy and Spain, also, south America, wot are our scouts doing it's a joke and surely it's got to change why not get ex managers or players, to scout players ie reddknapp, petrov, angel, laursen, also collymore to scout UK talent, something's got too change massively thank God we got 2good owners.

It's not the scout's, it's the players. Think of it this way:

You're working for a company and another thinks your fantastic, however this company is on the verge of administration meaning you could be redundant in 6 months. Do you go or do you stick where you are and pick up a guaranteed wage?

These mid season windows are ideal for players that are on the verge of an International team especially this season, get game time in to get a call up.
Another time a player would just do a Richards and sit and pick up a wage.
