I wanted to win today but the draw not a terrible result we've got to win our home games. Showed more fight second half. That young lad done well today vassilev. I definitely think Dean smith is the right coach he's just not had all the right players for the prem.

Its a banter site for different views an stuff like that, and as for moaning we have a right to moan we pay the money to watch our club, do il moan when I see please all villa are moaning at the moment the teams awfull along with the manager, so until that changes and we start doing better and putting 100 percent effort, il moan every day, people on here think there the kings and think there views are right and everyone else's rubbish, if we all thought the same the world would be stupid no football fans going to agree on everything that's why footballs good.

Let me explain to you logically now villa4eva. 2 years ago we nearly lost our club but for our new owners and Deano steadying the ship you would be playing tiddlywinks on a Saturday and no doubt you would have found a banter site to moan about the discs being to small and a different shade of red. Promotion we achieved was too early for their plans but we managed it and had to overhaul our old squad and buy new players and also getting in some old loan players. Now this season so far has been patchy to say the least but we are STILL in the running to survive 2 wins will see us move upto 14th. Now my opinion on Dean Smith everybody knows on here at 1st I didn't want him as manager but he has surprised me and I held my hands up and said I got it wrong. Do I think he is the man for the job at the moment YES I do as I will back any manager who is in charge of our club and after all he is one of us and deserves the respect of all of us his poor Dad is I'll who himself is a lifelong villa fan so my message to you and all of the doubters instead of jumping on the poor man's back BACK DEANO AND THE TEAM BECAUSE IF YOU don't THEN THINK BACK TO 2 YEARS AGO BECAUSE AFTERALL NOT ONE TEAM HAS A GOD GIVEN RIGHT TO BE IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE!

I don’t think it’s about the players I wouldn’t moan if we lost every week and I could see that they were all trying putting in a shift! They need to put fines in place at this club for all the lazy arses in the team! You know what would happen if I thought f**k it not going to try this week at work, I’d loose my job and everything what goes with it! El gazi should be made to stay and practice that header he missed today until he scored 75% of them. If not enough effort showed then they don’t get paid, give the money to charity.

In response to an earlier post, it isn't arrogance that drives my dislike of Sam Allardyce, it's that he is a crook. And I guarantee that if he did come in, save us from relaxation then a top half full nish the following year, the moaners would be out again saying it's time to thank Sam and get in a proven manager to take us to the next level. I appreciate this is a natural progression in any club, but our moaners would not give him the time to develop because patience amongst some fans seems to come at a premium. I don't trust Purslow either for what that's worth.

Somebody mentioned in another post, apologies I can't remember who, offered Burnley as an example, they came up and down before getting a good side together. Unfortunately things can often take time. If we stick we might go down, we might stay up. If we twist we might stay up we might go down.

Bit too much hindsight heroism sometimes.

Who would I sign at start of season right, Joe Hart 3/ 5mil . Lb shchulp would get for about 8/ 10 mil RB Hutton we should of kept also , centre backs cahil on a free, Alfie Mawson from Fulham 10 mil, midfielders, wanyama, from spurs 15 mil also I'd of tried to sign delph , wingers Matty Philips 10/ 15mil, junior hoilet 10/ 15mil, strikers mitrovic 25/ mill, Danny ings was only on loan from lpool 20/ 25mil and sturridge on a freebie,120,mil spent on proven prem players, and 20 mil left I'd sign another RB because Hutton's cover, much better team than this team now . that's who I would of signed or tried ruptektvilla.

Some good shouts in their 4eva, but not Phillips or hoilett no better than what we have but that's just my opinion. Joe Hart just isn't the same player anymore and Heaton easily much better. Again just my opinion. Ings and Mitrovich would have been £50m I reckon. Schlupp is a regular so unlikely less than £10m. How much for Delph and another RB? Think we would have had to pay more than 10m for Mawson. I disagree it's a better side but it's a moot point as we still would have had the main underlying issue that it's a new team. I've seen Wolves mentioned on this but they kept the core of their team and added quality at premium prices, which unfortunately we were not in a position to do.

My thinking with hoilet n Philips there both good crossers and have pace and if we had mitro with crosses coming in he'd be deadly then with ings clear up scraps in the box haha.

The point is that he's NEVER said anything remotely positive. If you won't openly praise the team when things are going well you can't say "you're not a real fan unless you can moan" as it's hypocrisy. A real fan takes the highs with the lows and also hopes we get through sticky patches rather than hoping people fail to prove a point.
