When all this is over and everything gets back to normality, you can bet on one thing, our first home game will be a sell out .
Personally I think one way of celebrating this, would be a, Rumours meet up . It would be great, to finally put faces to the names .
Some of the more connected, could surely find, somewhere for a few pints, before the game .
Everybody want normality back, let's hope it isn't to long . Would certainly be something for us to look forward to .
Onwards&Upwards Villaforever.

Sorry Dave, it won`t get back to what we deemed as normality.
Some things are going to change forever mate.

Dave that wasn’t the reply, I was expecting.

Sorry Dave, its me mate, I am just being realistic about all of this.
Your suggestion would be great, and yes I would be up for it for sure.

So we got over sars, foot and mouth, swine flue, mad cow, ebola and many, many more, we are a resilient race. Health, Just like Financial markets are at rock bottom, this will recover, how do I know, because it always does and always will. I don't make light of the current situation, however things will get back to normal, maybe it will take time, longer than many peoples patience will stand. Remember flue kills at massive levels every year and we bounce back. So let's do our social isolation and if we do life "will get back to normal" the sooner we all do, we can all get back to doing what we enjoy. So dave let's all be cautious, but please be positive, it will work out.

{Ed002's Note - There is no comparison to the flu.}

Trust you, I really don't know what you get off on, I tried to put a positive spin on things, if you check government records over the last ten years recorded deaths on peak years for flue will possibly match the predicted deaths with coronavirus. If you can't be objective don't bother commenting.

{Ed002's Note - You really are an ignorant mother with no understanding of the situation at all. The level of stupidity is astounding in fact. And a "flue" is a duct that take the smoke up a chimney.}

Thank you Ed, someone with some common sense.
Scotty, It is very clear to me you have no understanding at all about government figures, most government figures are fabricated.
We did not beat Ebola, Africa did.
As Ed 002 has said, this has no comparison to flu, swine flu, mad cow, or foot and mouth, you need to wake up mate.
America has between 11 million and 45 million cases of flu yearly, resulting in 12,000 to 61,000 deaths.
If COVID-19 affected that many, there would be millions dying.
I am a very confident person mate, and not at all a pessimist, but with people having your sort of attitude I would be far more confident.
This situation will lead to changes that will never be reversed, it will also lead to further changes in the none too distant, trust me.

I read around 0.1% of Americans that catch flu actually die. There isn’t an accurate figure yet for covid-19 as it’s a new illness but the indication so far is that the death rate will be somewhere between 1 and 2%, so that potentially makes it between 10 and 20 times more deadly.
The medical world is also saying that it takes 5 days to develop the symptoms compared with 2 days for flu which gives people more time to spread the illness asymptomatically before they know they are sick. There is no natural immunity to it, because of its newness, this apparently makes it more than twice as contagious as flu.
It is scary, so little is known about this illness, and the problem isn’t going to go away anytime soon. It may well become endemic also.
Let’s hope they produce a vaccine soon, because I have the feeling only then will we begin to really start getting the better of this awful virus.
The best thing we can all do is respect the measures that have been put in place and yes try and stay positive everybody.

Your figures are pretty accurate Mark, and I think you have hit the nail on the head mate.
yes we will come through this, but you have to be realistic about it, this is very new, and we will have to change our ways so we can live with it,
Not nice but fact.
