Can't understand why we might be looking to offload Samatta. He surely deserves a chance ahead of Davis.
We must be looking to bring in another striker if he does leave.
I hope we don't make the same mistake we made last year only buying one CF and relying on Davis. It would be a huge mistake.

I'd imagine we are looking to get another striker in Johnny, can't imagine we would leave ourselves short. Again?

Samatta just hasn't worked, if we can get the majority of our money back on him then it's a win win!

I can`t either Johnny.
BK, my take on this, is that the failings of Samatta are down to our failings as a team and the system we used.
Other than Jack we had no creativity at all, and the lack of ideas and the ability to see the movement and runs Samatta was making, were frustrating to watch.
Genk had several players who new his game, and were able to see his runs, the new what he wanted, so they played to his strengths.
That`s how players thrive, the creativity we are getting in now would help him to do that.
I said it last week, if we don`t get the ball in to Watkins quickly and regularly, the same failings will start to show.

Just hope Traore will be a good option when he does play.
Brewster off to Palace by the looks of things. Can't say I'm disappointed by not sugning him though. Agree with both BK and Dave, we can't make ssme mistake again re: strikers.
