Couple of thoughts post match, whilst trying to remember it was Bristol City:

Just how far have we come, two years ago Bristol City away was a tough fixture in our calendar, tonight our second team walked all over them.

Should have been more, wasted a quite a few very good chances which would of been good for individuals confidence.

We can't sell Guilbert, such good cover on that right side, and I'd argue he's a better back up left back than Taylor!

Ramsey needs minutes this season, class for his assist, his movement, weight of pass, vision everything was perfect. Two negatives, one he should of scored his chance, two in a game like that you'd like to see him really go hunting for the ball and demanding it, the way grealish does. He was involved enough, but he wasn't searching for it so to speak.

El Ghazi probably found his level, not in a nasty way but his touch and other elements are miles off premier league at times. If he had the attitude and application of someone like Trez you could argue keeping him as a squad player, but he doesn't really, he's lazy and half arsed.

Traore looked good, fantastic goal, can't really defend one on one but that's not what he's here for.

Davis was at his best, ran them ragged, shame he still has struggles with the main thing you want from a striker.

Good night! Beat Stoke and we are in the Quarters, 3 games from Wembley!

Pretty fair assessment Chris, only el Ghazi and Taylor let us down. Really rate Ramsey and Davis was on fire 1st half, even Lansbury looked good lol. Big shout out too for Elmo, looked really assured in an unnatural position (loads better than the last time we played a right back at centre half- yes Mr Bruce and James Bree I'm looking at you 😁)

Pretty much spot on I think there Chris, some real positives to come out of tonights game and I genuinly think we can improve on last seasons finish.
Like you say though, with a few new faces and improving the overall quality of the squad a few players are exposed now. Taylor, El Ghazi, Hause were way off today and have been for quite a while now. I like Trezeguet's attitude but he's a complete headless chicken too.
Still, considering where we were 18 months ago its a nice problem to have if they're the weakest members of the team.
Bring on Fulham!

Forgot about Hause DBS, he was all over the shop🙈 I know what you mean with Trez, he’s so limited in ability, but his attitude and effort, accompanied with the fact he showed up last season when we needed him means he probably gets another year to prove himself.
