Guys, is it just me that’s thinking Smith’s comments about just one player in will leave us short somewhere?

Think we need a player for top 3 attacking positions- a central midfielder, and a left back to challenge Targett? .

We will sign a forward. seems like it’ll be a versatile player who can play across the front three (Edouard, Rashica, Sarr, King) . Then the midfield option increasingly looks like being RLC. If we keep him fit, and he gets a regular run of games, he’ll be a huge upgrade on Conor as the regular starter at 8. Then it looks like Victor Nelsson at CB, which we really need. Another versatile option who can cover. Whilst we all want a new LB to push Targett on, that seems unlikely this window.
