I see gabby getting slated for his myth remarks in regards to Leeds, he may have jumped the gun but we will find out on Friday, what bothers me is most of the comments refer to the ghost goal in the Sheffield game and how we only stayed up because of a technical fault, my argument is that yeh that happened with plenty of games left and we done in the remaining games what we needed to do, lots of what if's, like if we needed the win on the last day would that fluke goal West Ham scored have happened or would we have dug deeper against Everton and not conceded late to only draw with them, my point being I think it's very unfair to say we only stayed up because of Hawkeye failing, maybe if it was close to the end of the final game it might be the case but I think we were destined to stay up regardless of what happened in the Sheffield game. also if that's the case 1 could argue that only for VAR we wouldn't of being near relegation, if memory serves me right when the table was worked out without VAR we came 15th with 2 of the same 3 teams suffering relegation, opinions? I will take great satisfaction from victory on Friday if we win it will feel as good as beating Liverpool I think, we owe them a good stuffing.

Yeah ignore the sheff utd goal comments. I remember celebrating several perfectly good goals at VP last season, only for var to spend 3 minutes making the WRONG decision and ruling out our goals. I still despise var which is ruining the beautiful game.

Probably the worst decision that went against us was the Crystal Palace game I think it was, where jack got penalised for diving as he was laying it off to Conor who buried it, I don’t think var was involved just very stupid refereeing it was never a dive and cost us valuable points, A. he was genuinely tripped and B. he never even looking for anything he got his pass away that was his aim.

Can't remeber what game it was, maybe Brighton at VP where we scored a perfectly good goal that was disallowed after fannying around with var for 5 minutes due to a 'foul' on the keeper, when in fact the keeper fouled our player! The goal was disallowed and we'd already been celebrating for 3 mins. Totally ruins the game and they don't even use var as the rules state. They forgot all about 'clear and obvious' the minute they started using var. Absolute joke.

Your right Chris it was Henry my mistake mate👌 Daylight robbery that was, I think as a whole that VAR wasn’t successful last season it didn’t reduce the mistakes, maybe it might be better this year with more pitch side monitor getting used.

It’s hard because we support villa so we have to be careful not to over react, but honestly it’s the closest thing I’ve seen to match fixing in my life. Worst decision I’ve seen ever and when you look at Friends previous decisions against us it all points in one direction.

Its simple. The SU question, it was not a goal.
The whole of the ball has to cross the line and with the ball pressed against the post part of the ball would still be on the line.
No goal.

The ball was clearly over the line Oldvillan, Nyland had the ball pressed behind the post and into the netting.
Definitely a goal mate.
