Just read the Dougie buy back clause ends on June 5th.

For some time I've thought Man City will take it up, they will be mad not to. I don't know if I'm being biased and potentially jinxing us for tomorrow night but, I've never seen Rodri control a game the way we have seen Dougie in the last few months. With Fernandinho getting on a bit aswell, I can't see them getting a better deal than the one they have in place for Luiz.

Fingers crossed they slip up here, to our benefit.

Sadly I can’t see Man City missing that trick. I don’t know much about Sanson but I wonder if our interest is born of the fact that we know Luiz will be moving on. If he does go however we should see if we can take Jack Harrison in exchange.

I've a bad feeling about this Chris, especially if the agreed fee of 28M us to be believed. He will be a fantastic player so I'd be amazed if City don't take up the option. Villa need to have a replacement teed up if we are too lose him!

In still keeping hope but I think your both right, would be mental if they didn’t. If they did it wouldn’t surprise me if we slapped a bid in straight away for him!
