I am not sure I was watching the same game as some of you guys. Some played well, some played OK, I didn't see any brilliance. Man City are a good side and there is absolutely no disgrace losing to them. I thought Mings had a good game, however six good moments and one mistake leading to a goal isn't in my book acceptable, especially when mistakes lead to dropped point's, after all this isn't the first time this has happened. Traore doesn't have the pace to help out Matty, Foden had far too much space another day he would have punished us. Ross obviously needs game time and it showed, he gave the ball away too often. We can't keep bemoaning our luck, you make your own luck. We won't play a better side again this season, so we roll our sleeves up and go again the weekend. The last two games were against the top two teams and both away from home no disgrace losing. Games in hand are only positive if they are converted who ever you play. So disappointment all round but we to need to see things as they are and not though claret tinted glasses.

Clearly you were watching a different game then scotty, we watched a team who had 3 days prep after a C.V. crisis against a team that lost once all season, Barkley hasn’t played since November (ish) and an interesting stat about previous games against them that we lost on aggregate 34-4 or something like that, so on a whole and taking all circumstances into account it was a great performance and didn’t deserve to concede a goal cause premier league decided to change the rules. city made united look terrible a few games back but we had better chances than united had against them, any team make mistakes that’s how other teams score goals generally, city are probably going to be this years champions so to hold them and still be in the game with a fighting chance till the last 10 mins is a huge improvement and lots to look at through claret and blue glasses. on to the next 1, good points on offer with West Ham Southampton and Newcastle coming up.

It wasn’t a mistake, not from Mings anyway.

Scot, too many times your comments make out like we should be world beaters.
We weren't at our best but to expect that from recent happenings is foolhardy. City weren't at their best either but still played like a team full of quality and we matched them for the whole game bar 2 questionable decisions.
Teams in better situations have tried playing a certain way and lost out to the better team. We played the right way and lost to debatable decisions so while not perfect we should look at the positives rather than having visions of grandeur.
Tinted glasses works both ways, you certainly have them more than those you claim to in my opinion.
