Pathetic performance, yes we are without 3 of our best but we've been without one of them for months.

The players like Traore and Ramsey have to take accountability for constantly putting us under pressure, having little to no effect on the game and in Traores case not caring about tracking back or showing any sign of effort.

Watkins struggled all game, I think he was fouled quite a few times but once the ref hasn't called the first three he isn't going to call the rest so you have to get on with it and find ways around it. He's too comfortable going to ground, throwing his hands round and shouting a referee who is already 30/ 40 yards down the pitch refereeing the opponents break away.

The gaffer has to take responsibility for not recognising the six or seven warning signs and going half an hour in the second half under constant pressure and not making a sub until we had conceded the second. Awful decision making.

We've been well and truly in holiday mode for a few weeks but today they were there for the taking, we had countless chances but once winning we didn't seem keen to extend that lead and were just happy to absorb pressure. Always going to end one way.

Can't see us getting anything from the last two with both teams chasing Europe, be good to get in there next Sunday though.

It was a performance which possibly defined where we are in terms of our position in the league. Can be brilliant and play teams off the park but we can be equally bad and get dominated by poorer opposition.

I'd like to have seen at least 2 substitutions made before the hour mark to give us some impetus back. Changing 1 then 2 more with less than 5 mins left it feels as though we're relying on something to break for us. Just tinkering.
Davis coming on in the last 5 minutes goes to show how highly the management rate him or trust him.

Would like to have seen Chukwuemeka given a go. Ramsey struggled today.

Flip flops and beach towels at the ready folks.

Where do you sit on Smith Chris? I'm torn, we've seen upward mobility since he arrived but the same issues keep rearing their heads - He deserves to start next season as manager but I just wonder how long be will get if this form continues into the 21/ 22 campaign.

To be honest mate judge him start of next season, think we’ve hit a bit of the Stoke syndrome since the C.V. breakout, knew we were safe and where before that we were hunting down the second and third goal, we just sit back.

He’s given us progression every year, and the overall play has improved year on year. I think lack of squad depth killed us, we’ve seen us at our best this year but also our worst. With that said us at our worst this year smashed us at our worst last year 3 or 4 nil😂.

Bit more squad depth and some players who have shown promise a full preseason to bed in and I think we’ll make progress again next year.

I can see why there’s pressure from some fans, and I’ve been honest along the way with games like today it’s had everyone pulling their hair out. But anyone who says they wouldn’t have been happy with 12th and above this year in my opinion is either very unrealistic or a bit dim.

Excited for next year now, think we’ll see some big signings in the summer!

Chris I think your spot on, Smith know now, that the squad is to light . Next season, I can see a big shake up,3-4 new players plus injection of younger players . We want players with a bit of grit, some at the moment, appear to just drift through games .

Agreed! Next season will be when we see the real Smith, for better or worse. He needs one more window.
