Does anybody else think we just robbed the bar codes
Been from Ireland I watched clarke closely at the euros to be honest I taught he was shocking
Always out of position jumps into a tackle there is just always a mistake in him
To be honest I think he wanted to jump ship to much computation in front of him.

I agree mick, even at his absolute best you always felt there was a blunder just round the corner from him

Was also absolutely shocking as a holding midfielder v blues, an I mean shocking!

I do agree, However, he always gave 100% and never hid.

Of all the useless crap from last year, on my list to get rid of, he wouldn't of been near the top,

I'm not saying he would be in my starting 11, but I wouldn't mind him on the bench.

If it were the other way around and Clark had been at Newcastle all his life and played the way he has for us, would you be excited at the thought of signing him from them?

That's a good point mate.
What I'm trying to say is though, I don't blame Clarke for where villa are, as I think he always played with his heart, and to the top of his limited ability.
And with him being the first outfield starter from last season to be shifted, it looks like we hold him high in the blame charts.

I wish him well, and personally will applaud him back at vp.

I can see an argument for it in the 90 mins, although more often than not it inspires them to give 10% more!
But before, and after most of them should get standing ovations. Once a villan, always a villan in my book.
