not a tranfer rumour more of a "where are we in the football world? " question. do people think signing for villa is a step down from celtic? other than the thought of champions league nights what would people think to having a stab at the likes of Griffith from celtic?

i like him too but do you think we are same level, step down or about same level? i mean other than 2-3 teams that league is shocking in scotland.

In status, in stature and sadly league position.
Champions league, sell out crowds, and realistic trophy chance.
They can only beat the team in front of them, so it's a mute point talking if league calibre.

They ARE a massive club. We are not even a big club anymore. Sadly.

We have to realise this, and cut our cloth accordingly. The sooner this penny drops the sooner we take the first step back to what we could/ should be.

Griffith a sound player i would like to bet his wages are bigger than we could offer at the moment. As for league callibre, don't think you can compare. let's face it the scottish leagues are piss pot in comparison to ours.
