Well done Aston Villa, I am so proud of you, and very proud to be a supporter of our great club, you all showed after the game yesterday that friendship and togetherness generates strength.
Thank you Mr Sawiris and Mr Edens for seeing the potential we have in our club, and for digging us out of the biggest hole this club has ever been in, I have no doubt you have woken up one of the giants in football, and with careful planning and patience, together we can again compete in Europe.
Last but not least I have to mention our Manager Dean Smith, who in my opinion is perfect for us, the man has done a fantastic job.
Make no mistake Dean Smith is one of us, he thinks like us, he talks like us, but most of all he wants what we all want, he is a likeable man who is very knowledgeable and growing fast in the modern game.
Given time, under his leadership I honestly believe that he will mould a squad together that will play the type and style of football that we became accustomed to under Ron Saunders and Martin O`Neill.
Make no mistake we will have some hard times ahead, but we must stay off his back and support him, not turn on him and suggest the job is too big for him, that kind of talk stinks and happens to frequently, he will get us where we want to be.
Let us all sit back now and enjoy the moment, it will be great fun watching the comings and goings, and I am sure there will be many rumours and lots of banter to look forward too.

Brilliant post,
I don't want to hear smith out after a run of defeats in premiership.
We all know we are not going to win the a amount of games we did in championship,
We are playing against world class players now and is a major step up.
But i love smith he is one of us .
As you say he thinks likes us and talks like us fans.
With some astute signing we could well surprise a few next year.,
Anyway i am now looking forward to a summer knowing we are premier leaque and we thank the players and smith and his coaching staff for bringing this dream to reality.
