Of course we are not happy with tonight's performance, first half totally outplayed, Young and Cash will never start together ever again, Emery obviously saw it and changed it at half time, however a quality coach should never have done this in the first place. So we played a team at the bottom who did a job on us in the first half, why, tactically inept. One thing the coach and fans found out, we are short of, two full backs a winger, striker and creative midfielder. Forget Baileys final woeful attempt, he was absolutely woeful all game. If he's all we have as a wing player we are weak. As soon as he gets the ball you just know he will lose control. Buendia, despite me thinking he is quality, is just the same as Bailey, Watkins non existent. So any coach of quality will know, Cash, Digne, Bailey, Watkins Luiz are not good enough to take us to the next level. The Spurs result obviously got in to the players mentality that we are quality, tonight we saw that's not the case. Emery will tell the owners we haven't got the quality to achieve their asperations and that's patently obvious to anyone without blinkers. To balance things i thought Konsa and Mings were our two best performers of the evening. So we got a point and we would have taken four points going in to the Spurs game however a point at home is extremely disappointing. If we don't buy, we will be running with the mid table, at best.

Absolutely spot on caffu. Cash and young should of never of started on the same side together. Every time Digne got the ball it was a backwards pass. So many of them are so inconsistent it drives me mad. Buendia, Digne, Luiz, Watkins, and don't get me started with Bailey, complete waste of time. I think Emery will add a couple this month then in the summer I think you will see him bring in the real quality he needs.

On the plus side I think that's the sort of game we would of gone onto lose under SG so fair play to Emery for changing it at half time. We just need that bit of consistency now

About bang on 78,the players we both refer to are not good enough for us to move on to the next level. Obviously Emery is a quality coach however fans have the right to highlight problems they see with selection and tactics. I just get frustrated when the blinkers are on with fans when the obvious is there for all to see.

A lot of the teams at the moment are inconsistent look at Spurs against us and then against Palace even Liverpool. Cash, and Luiz are decent players. Watkins is a decent player but not as an out and out number 9 he is better coming in from wide. I agree Digne’s workrate leaves a lot to be desired and Bailey is inconsistent but that is what most wingers are however I say again this does not make them bad players. A couple of signings and we will be pushing at the right end of the table.

I have to agree with loti, Buendia and luiz scored brilliant goals against against spurs, Watkins had a good game, also had a great assist and he scored with a cracker of a finish last week only for to be ruled offside by a tiny margin. I actually think we missed maginn last night.
Also look at wolves first half they looked brilliant then podence come off and they looked a completely different side hanging on for dear life, 1 or 2 players can make a huge difference to how the team play, we are missing 1 or 2 pieces of the puzzle I can’t see Emery selling off the bulk of our squad, unless of coarse we are offered silly money for them and we can get better players instead. we need at least 1 more winger and maybe a striker but I can’t see wholesale changes to the squad, he will add more without selling our first team guys
