If Guendouzi doesn't happen I wonder whether we might be tempted to see if we could pick up Tielemans on a free in the summer? Initially the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea were interested but they seem to have moved on to the likes of Caicedo and Rice, Liverpool are tracking Bellingham and I am not sure City and Utd are looking for that type of player. I am sure there will be plenty of interest from abroad in him but he is the type of midfielder we need and also the type we should be competing for.

The other thing I expected this window was interest in Zaha but nothing. I just wonder whether he already has decided what he wants to do and to run his contract down? If so given Emery was very keen when at Arsenal and we seem to be in the market for wide players whether he might end up with us? Bit conflicted on this one although a good player as a person I put him in the Robbie Savage category, an arse.

Why would UE go for Tielemens when he will just pay for Guendouzi in the summer? If Guendouzi is his number one target then why would he go for Tielemens? I often wonder what goes through your mind LOTI?

Lotm I certainly agree with what you say about Zaha,the man is a complete wind up merchant. Don’t know why but,he appears to target mainly other Black players . No doubting his ability, but I can’t stand his attitude.

Hodge 78 I did say if we didn’t get Guendouzi then fine I agree we don’t need Tielemans but if we don’t then as an alternative and on a free that would seem a decent bit of business to me
