Morning all

I've not posted for a while as, to be quite frank, the endless negativity and moaning was making me miserable. In fact, I've not even come onto the forum to read any views.

Like a fool, after last night's result, I had a peak. What a mistake. As usual, a steady stream of idiotic moaning and grumbles which in no way represents a fanbase that wants the best for their team. It must be exhausting for some of you to be so angry about football and Villa all of the time. Good God, give yourselves a break.

So I say thank you as usual to the Editors, for having to manage and sift through most of the rubbish opinion that gets posted on here.

And I say thank you to DBS1983 for posting such a fair and balanced view of where Villa are. Acknowledging the disappointment of last night, acknowledging that Villa are far from perfect, but also recognising what they are achieving, and continuing to achieve, this season. Despite limitations, some self inflicted, some not.

What the team really need now, from all of us, is the loudest voice we've got. Against Spurs on Sunday, against Forest next Thursday, and for all of the remaining games this season. You never know, if every Villa fan actually cheered them on for 90 mins each week, it might help get us to Istanbul.

Syston, you'll see it's the same ones being negative unless we win. I certainly see faults with the side, but last night we had more than enough situations where we could have scored. The final third is killing us. Rogers and Beundia are the main culprits, with a lack of control or anticipation.
