I may end up eating humble pie but looking at the remaining fixtures for ourselves and Utd, and given Utd's lack of consistency, I can't see us finishing any lower than fifth?.
Anyone know when the decision re the fifth placed team qualifying for the Champions League is being made?

It would take a catastrophic collapse for them to get 8+ more points than us in 8 games.
The coefficient is dependant on wins and losses in the European competitions. It is possible that we won't know until the final whistle of the Champions League final.

We need the German teams to get knocked out ASAP - Can't see West Ham beating Leverkusen unless they rest players to focus on the league but we should all be Atletico and Arsenal fans for the coming round in the CL. If they go out and the English teams progress (bar West Ham) then it should mean 5th spot is secure as a CL spot.
