Palace have rejected 70 million for guehi so I doubt we get him for 50… all these prices prove we sold ourselves short on Duran. look at Brighton they rejected 45 million for their winger and Al Nasser came back with 75 million which was also rejected

£70M in this window? I’m sure they wanted £70M in the summer, he now has 18 months left on his contract. Look at it this way, a centre half normally sticks around longer at club so you get better value over the length of their contract. If you pay over the odds it’s not that big a risk. Seems like a humble club man type player to me ??♂️

So according to Romano we are in concrete talks with Seville for Logic Bade, he won't be cheap, but if you couple that with the news we have turned down the offer from turkey for Carlos and there are other clubs interested in him, I wonder could it be a double deal with Carlos going back to them?

I think the Bade story has legs to be honest, I don’t believe we are only 12 million inside our safety margin for psr, defence is our biggest problem so if money was that tight I reckon we would of recalled illing jr for the wing and spend our money on defence, I think Emery is just being clever saying what he said today about Malen cause we don’t want our pants pulled down in negotiations for other players.
It’s hard to see Duran getting sold in this window unless we get 100 million which will set us up for the next 3 years so it won’t be the end of the world if it does happen, it wouldn’t surprise me if we sign 2 more first team players, our defence is awful and Emery and the board have to know it aswel they ain’t blind, I’ll be gonsmacked if we don’t sign some quality options for defence.

Danso gone to spurs, maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think assensio is a winger. surely we need at least 2 wingers (Bailey and Malen) rashford can play left wing but he’s also cover for Watkins so he can’t be our only cover for the wing. if we can get 25 million for Bailey I’d say sell him but surely we can’t loan him out without at least keeping illing jr?
Where CBs are concerned we need to buy one and loan in another, we got away with Kamara against Celtic but wolves proved more than once he’s not good enough at CB at this level if we are to push for Europe and try go far in this years champions league.
isn’t the rule for champions league that we can only add 3 more players? So if we sign rashford, assensio, 1 or possibly 2 CBs and the kid Garcia who do we add to our champions league squad?

Same here trinity, every game is a cup final now, hopefully losing out on the semifinals of champions league will make us more hungry to get back there next season now we know the league is our only route back into it. wasn’t it the season before last where we needed to beat them and we went on and scored 4, I’m hoping for a similar performance and result today, fully fit squad we are in much better shape than this time last year for a strong finish.

I was also thinking about Durán, the other side of the coin though, would we of gotten rashford and Assensio without his sale?
