Seen on sky sports app today that Brighton are monitoring Bogarde as a replacement for baleba, would be a shame to lose him but if it meant not selling any first team stars for psr at the end of the season it wouldn't be to bad for the immediate future, that said I had seen him as a future replacement for kamara whenever he leaves, retires or whatever.
what's everyone's thoughts?
Rather keep him for the future?
Sell him?
If so how much?
Take into consideration that Brighton want 100 million for Baleba.

I’d keep him, apart from the fee they were suggesting being low (£25 million) his salary costs aren’t that high and his ability to play several positions are a plus. Having said the fee for Bogarde is too low that’s in the context of the £100 million Brighton want for Baleba.
He is a decent player but £100 million never, if he is worth £100 million what price Rogers?

That guy Enzo we got from juve is ripping it up on loan, reports are describing him as 1 of the best CM in Europe right now, bad news for us as reports state he's only a couple of appearances away from a permanent move for what's described as peanuts, looks like we might have lost out with him, the signs we there that he had quality but instead we paid 50 million for Onana, these are the things putting us under financial pressure, I hope the new guy has a good eye for talent and I hope these young players get game time or we are just wasting our time.

Tielemans out for another 5 weeks apparently, that's going to hurt us he is one of the most important players imo
31 Aug 2025 16:04:58
Diogo costa rumour circulating also. don't know anything about lammens but Costa is among the best in Europe I'd rather him to be honest, god only knows what our team will look like come Wednesday, going to be a busy finish to the window
1.) 01 Sep 2025 12:11:43
Whack, window closes today at 7pm not tomorrow.
2.) 01 Sep 2025 18:05:32
Lol what’s that got to do with the price of turnips?
03 Aug 2025 21:28:54
Here's a positive outlook for those disappointed with lack of signings.
If any premier league team signed Watkins Martinez and rogers it would be hailed as a brilliant window, same goes for us keeping them.
1.) 04 Aug 2025 06:52:17
Totally agree.
I would also add that Watkins having a break to recover looks almost like a new signing going into the new season.

Cracking win, should of being more but I'll take it all day long. UTV ?

I read somewhere this morning that our revenue rose to just under 400 million and our wages have dropped from 90 odd percentage to 70 odd percentage after 24/25 season, hopefully that's helping us with financial regulations
1.) 22 Jan 2026 16:53:28
Love him or hate him Whack Heck done a fantastic job turning this around. This is why it's imperative that we qualify for CL this season as I've said before if we don't we are in shxt street mate and unfortunately this still don't help us for this season.

Hey ED how about a quick poll, Tammy or Mateta?

With all our injuries in midfield how would everyone feel about going back for Doug Luiz? Not working out for him at Forrest he could be got at the right price or even on loan I reckon
1.) 20 Jan 2026 15:29:45
Definitely worth a try whack.
2.) 20 Jan 2026 15:42:41
Apart from he's been poor everywhere he's been after us. Could be another Danny Drinkwater.
14 Jan 2026 18:24:31
If they do abolish PSR and bring in different rules how much better off will we be?
1.) 14 Jan 2026 22:54:06
Probably worse, under SCR there are no allowable losses and all calculations are on a year by year basis so selling a big player cannot set you up for the next 2-3 seasons. Some general running costs that fall under PSR aren't counted in SCR but that likely wouldn't be much of a positive when you look at the fact we were already fined by UEFA.
We're going to need to accelerate stadium increase and commercial revenue to have any chance of staying in the top 6. Even if we could continue pushing squads to their limit, any players getting us to that level will want equivalent wages to stay playing at that level.
22 Jan 2026 16:55:19
100% agree I find it weird he hasn’t squeezed a few more games out of him, I think he’s trying to send a message to Liverpool that we won’t be buying him and that’s that, maybe trying to force them into renegotiating but I genuinely think he’s doesn’t want him at any price let alone 35 million
22 Jan 2026 14:03:16
The transfer fee seems ok but he would want big money, I’d rather raid the championship for an up and coming talent like we did with Roger’s, obviously Roger’s was an absolute gem and they don’t all work out like that but the risk is similar to Stirling and you won’t have to pay astronomical wages.
Liverpool certainly don’t seem likely to take Elliot back and supposedly he doesn’t want to go to the mls.
21 Jan 2026 22:01:42
Can’t say he would excite me, just another in the sancho category
20 Jan 2026 22:02:09
Id love to see him at villa but i'd imagine it would be very expensive and probably beyond our budget especially if we have to bring in a center midfielder. En Nesyri is another I’d like.
20 Jan 2026 18:25:30
When we played arsenal at VP didn’t Emery bring him on as a sub for the last 15-20 mins in the CDM role, I think he did. if you asked me 2 months ago I’d of said no chance he’s a donkey but he really proved himself when he got a run of games I have to say I have a new found respect for him but Kamara is a real hard act to follow.
that ref in the spurs game really buggered us, absolutely no protection from him for our players
23 Jan 2026 00:04:05
Personally I thought Emery just wanted him off the pitch for fear of getting hacked down and injured, we can’t afford to lose him, Roger’s also taken off and wrapped in cotton wool. they were getting rough especially that skrinner fella he was boiling over
21 Jan 2026 20:33:28
Cheers Ed
21 Jan 2026 20:33:59
Martinez misses as many as he saves ??
20 Jan 2026 18:26:19
If sancho leaves maybe.
19 Jan 2026 20:05:59
I missed most of the game but I seen the incident, was it still 0-0 at thst point? I’m not sure how blatant a foul needs to be but that was so obvious, whatever about giving a yellow card but to not even give a free looks like nothing short of corruption.
I love the concept of VAR (had it being in the FA cup paulinha wouldn’t of being able to be such a dirty do and so and Kamara might not of being injured) but the more we use it and talk about it the more they are messing it up, the refs are getting worse instead of better.
