According to Sport Witness Aston Villa and Leeds have been given green light to sign the Brazilian striker Jefferson on a free transfer. I'm hopeful that Villa will get him first, would be a good signing. Any thoughts, lads?

Was at florentina never played a game for them been on loan at three or four clubs been playing in serie b so can't see him been prolific in premiership. why are top Italian clubs after him if he's any good, just because his Brazilian doesn't make him good.

Is this really what we have come down to - signing players from the Italian Second Division?
If this bloke was any good surely someone of a higher standard would have signed him originally.
I reckon even Bosco Balaban could have scored goals in the Italian Second Division.

I had heard of Benteke, by virtue of watching international football. He was already a Belgium International player when he came.
