Keep seeing reports saying adebayor is top priority after benteke leaves, is it just me because i really don't want this to happen! There surely must be some other hungry strikers out there with age on their side!

Absolutely Shawtvilla, I don't think that Adebayor would be good for the team, I don't rate him that much and believe him to be lazy and well past his best so let's hope this don't come off. I'm sure there will be those who think differently but it's just my opinion.

Agreed. Given a choice I would greatly prefer Charlie Austin to Adebayor. One is a potential investment in the future, the other possibly only a one season gap filler.

Also seen an interview gueye has had, says "I wanted a change of scenery," he said. "The most important thing was to come to England to improve and aim for a big club later.

Im already pi**ed off with the guy, another money grabber has come to our great club!
Cant wait for lerner to go then maybe we will finally regain our status as one of the big dogs in the league and players will want to come here and not be persuaded!

I reckon his comments may have been taken out of proportion by the media , but if true then really it should push him on to give his all for our club which may lead to a high consistant rate of energy and hopefully quality.
