Hi all. Been following this site for a while now and thought I'd post my thoughts. My concern at the moment is I don't know what SG wants? What's his style? What's our identity?

I seen a post about Arteta at Arsenal and that's why we should give SG more time. I'm not buying that at all, Arteta has sat down with Edu and they both know what direction and style the club want to go in.

We have absolutely no identity about how we want to go and SG is to pig headed to see this. I also can't understand why lange isn't taking some of the flack along with Purslow. People forget he brought Woy Hodgson to Anfield.

I can take the defeats if I can see what SG is trying to do but at the moment we don't have a clue.

I have to agree with you oddsocks.
I see strange decisions week in week out but I think to put Archer on at 90 mins was very strange, was he trying to run the clock down on a 1- 0 defeat?
I really can see a relegation fight on our hands if he isn't able to sort the mess out and I am not sure he is good enough to sort it out

Letter in the post.

Dear Steve,
Thank you for your efforts over the last few months but as much as we like the thought of you bringing the Liverpool mentality to Villa it appears that you have taken a turn up a one way street.
No real pattern of play and little direction from you on the touchline.
There is no leader on the pitch just eleven players picked like a school game in the playground.
If you could clear your desk within the next 72 hours it would appreciated.

How I wish someone could remind our manager that the object is to win the game.
We are playing the game like a game of cricket, you don't have to win as a draw is ok,

Heaven knows who our next manager will be but it seems thatbeing manager at VP is like holding the poison chalice.
For many year I have suffered poor performances at VP but none as at present when one considers the money spent.
