According to reports SG is going to send Archer and Tim on loan to QPR. This seems very strange to me when most supporters think they both should be at least playing some parts of games.

SG think of what is best for Villa and not your friend at QPR.

Am I the only person who is totally fed up with the BBC's obsession with Newcastles injury problems.
All teams get injuries, Villa included, but it seems to the Beeb that Newcastle are the only one suffering. There rarely is a mention of Villa playing 6th choice Centre half.

The more we stay out of the headlines the happier I am let’s keep under the radar for as long as possible

They also forget to mention that those injury problems are self inflicted by Howe expecting his players to play full pelt every game.
Our injuries have at least been less frequent due to our more measured approach, we have just been unlucky with the ACL issues.

Totally agree RK. This is often overlooked. Teams like Newcastle and Tottenham, and Leeds not so long ago, play high tempo and as aggressive as they can get away with. It's to the detriment of themselves and their opponent on the day. It's their choice but they deserve to suffer more injuries because of it.

Just seen figures relating to injuries on sky sports, Newcastle players have missed twice the amount of days so far this season as villa players, we seem to be around the middle of the pack for injuries

How poor has this ref been.
It seems like he wants them to win

Just a big congrats to former Villain Andre Green for the success he has had in Slovakia.

I think we all knew their was a good player there but it has taken a little while to show through.

In fairness, they have won the Slovakian league for eight out of the last 13 seasons including the last five on the bounce. I’d suggest they’re comparatively championship standard at best, but credit to him in carving out a successful career, particularly somewhere they definitely don’t speak brummie. And he can do all his clothes shopping in Vienna which is only 20 miles up the road? As a striker though, 8 goals in 38 is not exactly prolific ?

2.) 23 May 2023 19:53:28
Isn't he a winger Menace? He probably earns a couple of grand a week and enjoys himself. Fair play to him.

3.) 23 May 2023 22:27:14
He is a winger, not a striker. His goal record over there is nearly 1 in 4 which, despite the level of competition, isn't a bad return for his position.

Surely SG must reconsider the positions of Nakamba and Sanson if we let Luiz go, if not we will be looking at the youngsters if we get a run of injuries.

Sad news about the passing of our ex centre forward Andy Lochead.

Andy thanks for your goals and rip.

Hi VillaWizard Villa were never near bankruptcy unlike the last 2 owners Lerner and the good Dr.
Also to question his intelligence when he isn't around to answer you shows your lack of intelligence.

Hi WOW, I think Wolves are looking at FTP and thinking if they are promoted the Premier League will do nothing and the ELF might just fine them.
This is basically what happened to QPR when old Harry got them promoted, unfortunately for them they slipped back and were fined £40m which nearly bankrupted them.
I suppose it might be worth a try for the Villa if we could buy a good finisher and a good midfielder and then get promotion.
Let's face it if all you have to worry about is a fine when you are in the Premiership its small beer.

Hi Diamo have to agree that Wolves are, in my opinion the best side in the division and will get promotion.
I have to disagree on the support.
Last night was your biggest gate since 1985 and is considerably lower than the Villas.
Mind you I would accept lower gates if we could play the same football as your lot.

A great day to see Brian Little back, at last a bit of sunshine on a dull season.

Hi Mike
I said last year we should have had a temp manager and I was shot down in flames, I still believe this is the way we should go although not sure about Peter Withe.

Yes it was. It was reckless, dangerous and late, complete madness from McGinn.
If that was a Spurs player you would be shouting for a red.

I think you will find the players are following the managers tactics of a slow inefficient build up. It also doesn't help that we see a changed side every game and players being played out of position.
That is down to poor coaching and management.
He has to go.

I have to agree with you oddsocks.
I see strange decisions week in week out but I think to put Archer on at 90 mins was very strange, was he trying to run the clock down on a 1- 0 defeat?
I really can see a relegation fight on our hands if he isn't able to sort the mess out and I am not sure he is good enough to sort it out

Looking at the sides we probably thought would be below us, such as Leeds, Newcastle, Palace, Brighton, Brentford, even Forest and Fulham they all play so much better football and look a threat.
We just appear a threat to no one, poor defence, poor midfield and a manager who doesn't seem to have a clue.
Bring in Pochiteno before we are well adrift.
This season has relegation struggle all over it.
