I wonder if we need to sell Ramsey and Archer in order to buy and comply with FFP. Its just a pity we can't offload Davis, Hause, Sansom. Traore, Bailey to get the funds we need and just loan out Archer and Ramsey.

You may well be right Scot

It will help FFP massively for sure but personally I don't see the issue if neither are going to play a huge amount of football - We would get 35M (ish) for both, they would get Prem experience and if they are good enough long term we buy them back. It's a win win for all parties in my opinion.

Contrary to Jonny, we’re selling them so we comply with ffp. Option to buy back on Ramsey is all but a loan if we decide to buy him back but we get the benefit of a credit on the balance sheet. With a straight loan we wouldn’t.

Plus we only spent 88mil that's hardly going to damage us, ncastle got ffp problems spent 177mil, and only sold saint max

Avfc67 were not in danger of ffp where has this come from, villa still signing players as monchi stated in his interview we wouldn't be signing players if we were in danger of ffp there getting sold because there not good enough its simples even with a buy bck clause that's to cover our tracks

I didn’t say we’re in danger Jonny, but we do need to comply. Doing a deal this way allows us to carry on spending upto a point. Monchi himself has said we “can’t go crazy” spending money.
I don’t disagree with you about Archer though, he had several chances during the friendlies and didn’t impress particularly.
