I reiterate.
No. We don't need to win a trophy.
I hate the rhetoric that we do.
Trophies are not a necessity - they are an opportunity. An exhilarating chance to achieve something special something rare.
Forcing a mindset that not winning a trophy is "failure" serves no purpose other than to raise anxiety and reduce enjoyment.
There are 3 trophies on offer to everyone each season 4 if you're good enough to compete with clubs across Europe. Winning one should be an explosion of joy not a release of relief.
I don't get nervous for Cup ties. Nerves are for relegation scraps.
I get excited.

Winning trophy helps ur club grow. Look, Crystal Palace gonna win there 3rd trophy in 2years, thats wot is about im afraid. Big clubs win trophys, were supposed to be a big club, but when a chance comes to win a trophy we bottle it, like the manager aswell. Until we get a manager who plays on the front, has a plan b n c, Villa wont win anything with Unai in charge.
Glasner, Iraola, Hurtzler would of won us something if they was in charge. Wot Unai has done is no better than wot Eddie Howe has done at Newcastle. In fact, Howe has done a better job, he won them a trophy and took them in CL 2 times.

No revenue helps your club grow!
And, for your response to Palace and Newcastle winning cups, yes, they have, but where are they in the PL? Also, Newcastle are in deep, deep trouble with regards PSR; they will have to sell, and Palace are just Palace, always lingering in the bottom half of the table.
And Unai has done a far better job than any of those managers considering our restraints, but I guess you will say otherwise.

I know Palace won the FA Cup last year, but what else did they win? Maybe I'm wrong, but you mentioned a few times they are about to win their 3rd trophy with Glasner, and I'm not sure you're right.
