Villadaz

1.) 15 Sep 2020 11:59:01
That seemed to come out of nowhere - fantastic news.

2.) 15 Sep 2020 13:01:23
Its the signing of the transfer window get in utv.

3.) 15 Sep 2020 16:22:32
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.

4.) 15 Sep 2020 18:35:13
If you all remember I told you the JG would sign a new lucrative deal.
The king delivers again.

5.) 15 Sep 2020 19:43:10
I always believed you worked for Royal Mail 😂😂😂.

6.) 15 Sep 2020 19:50:38
You need to send in the original post Kingy as I don’t remember you posting anything like that at all.

7.) 15 Sep 2020 21:26:18
Me neither Kingy.

8.) 15 Sep 2020 22:04:54

kingy not even jack knew before Saturday so stop talking s@$t again.

10.) 15 Sep 2020 22:11:40
It was posted on 13th August, and it is as kingy stated.
Still think its guess work.

11.) 15 Sep 2020 22:20:33
Fair play Kingy.

Dave thanks for putting me straight I must have missed the post.

12.) 15 Sep 2020 22:31:28
You are welcome John.

13.) 16 Sep 2020 11:03:16
Thanks Dave and John your King will pardon the rest especially badger boi but an apology would be nice.
Jack knew well before Saturday my sources told me he always wanted to stay he had told Villa that it was the negotiations over the new contract with Jacks agent that took the time.
And I was also told that not one single bid or offer came in for Jack.

14.) 16 Sep 2020 11:11:08
My sources were also correct about the Oli Watkins deal the only thing that took the time was the negotiations for the transfer fee and add-ons Villa began to panic as time was running out and Spurs had entered the negotiations hence why we paid much more than our valuation although Watkins had already agreed terms with us.
Another one from the king.

15.) 16 Sep 2020 12:48:50
As james Mason famously said in Salems Lot- "Bow down to the Master" 👏😂😂.

16.) 16 Sep 2020 14:53:17
OK kingy so jacks a lyer then when he said 50/ 50 we await Friday and see if rashica is in i bet he won't be.

17.) 17 Sep 2020 13:31:13
Any news on rashica.

18.) 18 Sep 2020 23:52:08
Its that time kingvilla. still nothing from you or rashica, told you I would be right.

09 Sep 2020 10:17:07
Perhaps a ED could enlighten me on a transfer fee? We are reportedly paying £28 mill for a player rising to £33 million with Exeter reportedly getting £4 mill. Is this why the fee is so high and Brentford held out to get let's say £24 mill for him or will Exeter get that money over a certain time scale?

Villadaz

{Ed002's Note - Exeter will recieve 15% of the fee that Aston Villa pay Brentford. It typically works on the basis of 15% of each installment paid by Aston Villa is passed on to Exeter by Brentford.}

1.) 09 Sep 2020 11:00:08
Cheers Ed. To be fair to Brentford they held out for the best possible deal for themselves which you can't blame them. To be honest I think overall this could be a very astute signing for us but only time will tell.

{Ed002's Note - I think it will be a very good signing.}

2.) 09 Sep 2020 12:38:03
When you consider we paid 18 mill for Bent 6 years ago i think this isn't too bad.

He scores more than 1 in 2 in the championship. i think linking up with Grealish he could be extremely prolific. I would try and sign benrahma no if i was Smith. Having someone who he plays well with and with the skill quality of benhrama i think we will be knocking on top 10 door providing we can get a keeper in and we survive injuries.

27 Jul 2020 21:57:00
Suso has left AVFC now what happens is anybody's guess.

Villadaz

1.) 27 Jul 2020 22:02:15
Great news Daz.

2.) 28 Jul 2020 00:21:05
Maybe we won't buy anyone from the Belgian league!

3.) 28 Jul 2020 08:51:36
Sure is Dave personally I think it's a step in the right direction. Will they employ another one or just let Deano have a free reign? I just don't know but if it's the latter and we get the players Deano wants and we struggle you can bet your bottom dollar he won't be in a job by Christmas that's for sure.

4.) 28 Jul 2020 14:23:14
Spot on Daz, if they are going to use someone in that capacity, why not use Brian Little, Stan Petrov, or Ian Tayor.
People who have the club at heart, and not the money.
I am sure Deano would flourish with people like that behind him.
The final decision being made by the manager.

5.) 28 Jul 2020 17:16:26
Dave excellent shout. Just glad suso has gone.

6.) 28 Jul 2020 17:22:50
Petrov is a hero but he was the one who pushed to sign Tonev. Club legends don't necessarily equal good scouts.
Wouldn't say no to Little though, he had a decent recruitment record and gave youngsters chances.

7.) 28 Jul 2020 18:21:29
I also think Terry might leave which if that is the case I'd get Martin Laurson in as Deanos assistant.

8.) 28 Jul 2020 20:17:09
Another good shout Daz.

08 jul 2020 21:30:30
we are not down yet. its a good job we are playing behind closed doors imagine the toxic atmosphere instead of trying to be that 12th man!

Villadaz

1.) 09 Jul 2020 06:03:46
Where's the goals going to come from and also clean sheets and add too we need 4points points come on daz we ain't going to win another game, we had our chance in the summer and at Xmas and blew it just like the 148 mil spent on crap.

2.) 09 Jul 2020 07:42:19
No such thing as the 12th man at Villa anymore Daz, hear any ex players for us or other teams talk and it’s always the same “get on them for 5 minutes and the crowd will turn, then you’ve won”. In many ways we’ve got what we deserve this season and previous, toxic fan base for the most part.

3.) 09 Jul 2020 10:07:53
Theres a result in us somewhere just waiting for it. Tonight we have nothing to lose go out there and give it a go. Then the next 4 games I can personally see us getting 4-6 points then we have to rely on other results to go our way can we? Do we deserve to No but it's our club we have to believe. Well apart from the few.

4.) 09 Jul 2020 10:14:38
I agree its a good job we are not going watching us lose every single game without sometimes even having a shot thank god we are getting a refund on our season ticket! Villa fans back there team big style but when you play as crap as we do every football fan in the world would boo!

5.) 09 Jul 2020 14:08:36
Agree we all support villa and want us to do well, no one is going to say they are happy when we have been crap.

27 Jun 2020 19:14:44
Rumour has it Dean Smith is nearing the sack.

Villadaz

1.) 27 Jun 2020 20:03:10
I've seen it aswell daz.

2.) 27 Jun 2020 20:08:44
Pls let it not be Terry.

3.) 27 Jun 2020 20:30:09
Venables, Scott or Wogan? 😁.

We win 0-3 our 2nd game in and people are still having a pop Jesus Christ we truly do have the most annoying fans!

Villadaz

1.) 28 Sep 2020 20:12:08
Daz some people haven’t got a scooby mate😂.

2.) 28 Sep 2020 20:18:51
So what if Fulham out passed us, the vast majority of it was totally unproductive. The decisive passes came from Villa, that’s all that matters. Martinez didn’t really have a great deal to do, and we’ve kept our second clean sheet. There’s no way we would have achieved a result like that last season, it’s called progress.

3.) 28 Sep 2020 20:26:00
4th in the league 2 clean sheets, looking at tonight’s stats they had 65% possession but didn’t have 1 clear cut chance, odoi should of got his second yellow on more than 1 occasion, defended very well inside our 18 yard box and were clinical in theirs, another night we could of had 5, apart from the disallowed goal they had 1 half chance from mitrovic and 1 shot where emi tipped it onto the bar, for any of the people with a negative opinion I ask you was there any part of that 98 mins of play where u thought we wouldn’t beat what was in front of us?

4.) 28 Sep 2020 20:38:49
And for anyone to make a statement like we shouldn’t let a team like Fulham out pass us you need to wake up and realise we are a team in the building stage we ain’t world beaters and this is the premier league there are no free points on offer especially away from home, ask wolves or city fans after yesterday.

5.) 28 Sep 2020 20:39:30
Its embarrassing and they make themselves look fools.

6.) 28 Sep 2020 20:47:35
We won,2 games 2 clean sheets and 4 goals scored. Far from perfect but heading in the right direction and I feel there is more to come from this team. Resilient in defence and clinical in attack and a fair few meaty tackles going in. I feel the tide has begun to turn and its nice to have a few decent options on the bench for a change. All in all what's not to be pleased about to our start to the season?

7.) 29 Sep 2020 08:24:08
I will say one positive note from yesterday game there was many but one that really stood out for me was the determination of the players to throw their bodies on the line and keep the clean sheet again. Konsa Mings Cash and evening targett throw themselves at the ball. Overall a great performance moved the ball quickly and smart. tackling solid, played into the spaces well and pressured them all over the pitch. Another area I must highlight was the talking all over the pitch when one player pressured the other filled their space and the first pressing player dropped in the space that was left mcginn and trez did this a lot yesterday trez presses the first ball mcginn would cover trez position and as trez come back he would fill in mcginns space. Must Say Mings becoming even more of a leader once again him and konsa constant talking and Mings marshalling not only his defensive line but all the midfield and forwards constantly telling them to keep going don’t get sloppy. Another thing I like was at half time Deano and Jack having a little chat and laugh this shows there’s is really happiness in the group and when things are good you can have thst little laugh. Yes there will be tough times throughout the season but with this group of players showing the fight and determination for eveything I’m very happy atm. Watkins also gets a special mention lad works his balls off all over the pitch chased lose balls creates chances and tracked backed so unlucky not to get his goal. UTV.

25 Sep 2020 15:32:39
I'm going to put my neck on the line here and say Konsa will be one of thee best centre halfs to grace the Premier League in my humble opinion this guy has everything pace can tackle can play it out from the back cam pop up and score and can read a game well his all round game is second to non.

Villadaz

1.) 25 Sep 2020 18:17:55
100% agree, Rio Ferdinand in his prime good I think he’ll get to

UTV.

2.) 25 Sep 2020 19:22:17
Well we ought to tie him down to a long term deal with a hefty release clause attached Centre backs are quite in demand currently.

3.) 25 Sep 2020 19:46:41
I think he’s in for an england shout this season!

24 Sep 2020 19:35:20
Traore goal is pure filth.

Villadaz

1.) 24 Sep 2020 23:02:27
With the wrong foot as well, hopefully a few more like that this season.

23 Sep 2020 14:01:10
Just for a bit of nostalgia who remembers the comic Roy of the Rovers? I used to love reading Billy's Boots. I used to go round my nans and uncles house they used to get us that comic Wizzer and Chips and Shoot along with the good old Panini Sticker book and have a little bet on the horses.

Villadaz

1.) 23 Sep 2020 15:00:11
Those were the days daz, I remember another sketch I think it was “hotshot hamish” he had a thunderous boot on him and a little fat guy played with him that could run super fast lol, not sure which comic they were in I used to get whizzer and chips an odd time but mostly it was beano or dandy, loved Xmas time you might get a couple of the hard back annuals 🤗.

2.) 23 Sep 2020 16:22:28
What about "Limp along Leslie" in the Wizard?
Had a permanent limp. Trained hitting balls through rows of hoops both straight and curved to get swerve.
And we all think that swerving balls are a new thing.
Played for England.
Paid about £12 a week.
Amazing. We have our own limp along. Paid about £50k a week and can't hit the ball straight let alone a curve ball.
Think his name is Wesley!

3.) 23 Sep 2020 16:51:49
I remember it well Daz, those were the days that included England winning the World Cup.

4.) 23 Sep 2020 17:43:12
Roy of the Rovers went downhill when they signed 2 of Spandau Ballet lol 😂 Billy the Fish in Viz 👍🏻

UTV.

23 Sep 2020 09:55:29
Just a idea here for the lower league clubs. couldn't they show their games live charging fans £5-10 pound for the privilege this generating a bit of cash for their clubs? I know Sky show some games but for the hard working man/ woman who enjoy watching their club surely Sky would give them access to show all their home games helping them out and fans can get too see their clubs and helping them out at the same time just a thought.

Villadaz

{Ed001's Note - I am pretty sure those that can use iFollow for that mate.}

1.) 23 Sep 2020 12:07:31
Ahhh cheers Ed I thought I had a Dragons Den idea then.

{Ed001's Note - they are pretty much forced into it as part of the EFL running their sites.}

2.) 23 Sep 2020 12:35:03
So Ed I'm not sure how it works the fans can pay for the privilege of watching their team live but the EFL get a payment off the clubs for that privilege or am I being Mr Thicko here?

{Ed001's Note - the EFL run the official sites for the majority of EFL clubs, I think they do a profit share basis.}

3.) 23 Sep 2020 12:42:18
Ahh I see many thanks again Ed you learn something new everyday.

{Ed001's Note - it is supposed to be helpful them all being part of a network but it just means the sites are abysmal and all look the exact same with just different colour schemes. Oh and they are always slow to update them etc. But it cuts back on costs for those clubs who can't afford to run their own.}

4.) 23 Sep 2020 13:54:32
Cheers Ed for that insight as the saying goes the rich get richer for me mate football has been ruined by the fat cats. I used to love Saturdays with World of Sport and Dickie Davies watch a bit of wrestling then onwards to football and then on Sundays Star Soccer with Gary Newbon oh the days when football was football.

{Ed001's Note - it was much better then it must be said.}

So Tom you would like someone to come who is in it just for the money than someone who actually wants to play for the club? Because I certainly dont!

You said by then of the week and that was 3 weeks ago. don't pretend to be a ITK person. Personally I don't want him he has been holding out for a better offer nothings came so all of a sudden he wants to come again? Wants the money not for the love of the club.

Scotcafu let's put things into perspective for you. We are now unbeaten in 6 yes 6 PL games. We have won our first 2 games and In my opinion quite convincingly too, You can only beat what's in front of you its 11 v 11 anything can happen.
For many many years we have had to struggle as a club and fans to get to grips with mismanagement and no funding building our club again from the beginning.
We stayed up by the skin of our teeth last season and in doing so has reaped its benefits already with the investment of our youth system and 1st team. Now I'm not saying we are doing to be world beaters but you can now see the battle in our players the desire to throw bodies on the line goes to show how far we have come in such a short space of time and even the owners have admitted that we are ahead of where they thought we would be.
We as a club and I would say 3 maybe 4 years behind the Like's of Everton and even Crystal Palace to that matter with regards wages and infrastructure you look at Liverpool for example its tool them 10 years or more to build a great team champions infact and I would say we are 10 years behind them maybe more.
So for you too keep on finding negatives with this club and players is bewildering and this is why people have a little dig. As for the tinted glasses mate may I suggest you take your Ray Bans off and look at the bugger picture as is what is happening at OUR great club.
I'm going to use Wolves as a example their club and fans are now at a all time high and I for 1 applaud them for that they stuck by their team I mean let's be honest here would you have put good money on them beating West Ham because I did along with Bayern Munich and they both got stuffed so Scot let's enjoy the moment because it's been a long time coming and you never know you might just praise the club and players for doing a job which I think is being WELL DONE keep the faith fell.
