I see Samatta has gone I feel a little sorry for him in that he came in at a difficult time when we were in the middle of a slump and not creating a great deal and therefore he didn't have much of an opportunity to make his mark, he has scored at European level and is undoubtedly a decent player so here's wishing him all the best in the rest of his career.

Yeah you're right. We'll now never know if he could have made it. I'd much rather have seen Wesley leave instead.

Wesley will come good mate, if he hadn’t got injured he would of matched the likes of Wilson and king last year I’d almost put my house on it.

Sorry whackattack I always support our players, but Wesley I just can't see a player in him. With the right supply his height could make him useful, but I think Davis is a far superior version of him. Even comparing the 2 seems unfair on Davis imo.

Agree 100% Dave, I have never been comfortable watching Wesley.
He did improve a smidgen, but still looks lost to me, and surely not a C/ F.

Wesley’s goal to game ratio is a lot better than Davis, when you add in that a lot of Davis games were against championship opposition it paints a different picture than one being drawn on here.
