Hi Guys, the way i understand it is that VAR could not get involved in this decision as the referee had stopped play.

If he hadnt, the goal would have stood after VAR review.

I think what this shows is that play needs to be continued beyond a possible VAR intervention rather than the referee just stopping the game. However, how can this by appropriately implemented?

Lee.

{Ed001's Note - they could get involved with the decision as it should have been a free kick on the edge of the box to Villa. They are making up nonsense as they go to protect the incompetence of their officials. The goal would not have stood, but you should have had a free kick or possibly a penalty, depending on where it was decided the offence took place.}

I wouldn't bring back Elmo i'd stick with Guilbert though agree with Marvellous.

I think we need to solidify our midfield and get points on the board rather than playing 4-3-3 as i think we are too vulnerable and concede too much possession.

My view is i would ply 4-3-2-1 with Douglas, Marvellous and McGinn, then Jack and Jota, with Wesley upfront. that's how i think we could get more success in the short term. We can then use our wingers as impact subs.

Just my opinion, but i trust DS.

Hi guys,

Heard some information, no idea if true but ill post and the person i heard it from doesn't claim to be ITK. Apparently Bradley Dack £7m plus add ons. I think that would be a decent deal.

Also, he said the prices quoted in the paper are total BS for speculation. Yes prices are higher than normal, but not as high as quoted. He had heard that the press are adding on at least £5m to each rumour.

Just passing on, but there's so many rumours at the moment.

I would love that to be true. He had a big impact at Newcastle so i'm sure DS would get the best out of him. I think a loan to buy would be a smart bit of business and rotate him and jota.

Thats interesting Villa4eva, that's an average of £12 million per player. i'd imagine there would be a few £12 - £15, a couple of lower fees, a loan to buy and maybe one or perhaps two £25+ million higher profile players.

Hi DJC, you are reiterating something that I've heard from someone who allegedly works in the football business. Apparently there is a list of 20 players who are wanted by "the club" over the next 3 transfer windows. He has also heard 4 deals are in ongoing discussions, and that others have been or are in the process of being submitted.

Only telling you what i have heard. May be BS, but based upon the performance of the club since promotion, it looks like we have a management team who mean business.
