Villa will not sign anyone else, as I said before Its possible that the owners want to see Smith prove himself before investing further. If it's a positive first half to the season they will look at making funds available for January window 22.

I am not sure that the CEO will agree to any further signings, Smith as much as said so recently. I think they will go with what they have then try again in January if need be, with or without Smith! After £300million transfer activity and no Jack he needs to prove himself?

According to the Daily Mail, Jack is due in Manchester today to sign for City! Unless its more nonsense reporting he is gone!

Guys news just in Grealish "Prepared" to sign new deal at Villa! City have a window to make it happen but reading between the lines he is stalling on a move!

Ings is not the solution for Villa and vice versa, I think he will end up staying at Southampton. I think Abraham is a big shout if Smith is thinking about playing two strikers or shifting Olly out wide, other than that I think he will try Westley then look again in January 22 if it doesn't work. In the meantime let's hope we add one or two quality signings in other positions to improve us further and show Jack the next level of ambition.
